Mission Statement
Our Mission is to promote and support athletic success, spirit and sportsmanship
in every sport and for every student-athlete at Lake Forest High School.
The generous contributions of our members and corporate partners, as well as our many volunteers, have enabled the
Boosters to continue their longstanding tradition of supporting and sponsoring a wide variety of activities designed to
enhance the success of our high school's athletic teams, and the experiences of our student-athletes.

WHAT WE DO:

CONCESSIONS: Manage & provide concession services for over 120 events at the East and West Campuses.
SPIRIT STORE: Provide LFHS spirit-wear & merchandise through retail store and special events.
TEAM PARENT PROGRAM: Organize and manage a “Team Parent Program” to support all teams at all levels.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: In conjunction with Sun Times Media, we support & manage LFHS student journalist
interns for publication in The Lake Forester sports section.
• ACE (Athletic Competition Equipment) GRANTS: Over $24,000/yr. delivered directly to support 31
teams & athletes with equipment needs. Additionally, participate in special project efforts – scoreboards, lights, etc.
• TEAM SUPPORT: Over $25,000/yr. provided directly to teams to help pay for dinners, banquets & senior celebrations.
• ATHLETIC TRAINING GRANTS: $6,000/yr. in grant funds to over 100 athletes for training & educational camps.
• SENIOR ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS: Four Outstanding Senior Athlete Scholarships per year ($1,000 each).
• ATHLETIC FEES: Provide “Needs Based” funds to pay for fees associated with athletic team participation.
• IMPACT CONCUSSION TESTING: Initiate & fund each year concussion testing, prevention programs & education.
• MURAL: Established & provide Mural to reinforce & highlight the values, ethics & spirit of the school & community.
• FLAGS, BANNERS, BUTTONS: Supply flags for display in the community, at athletic events & graduation. Also
provides various banners, player photo buttons & spirit support items.
• COACHES GRANTS: $6,000/yr. supplied to support coach development with skill and leadership education.
• SPIRIT INITIATIVES: Support LFHS with funding, volunteers, promotion & organization of various spirit initiatives.
i.e. Matt Grevers’ Day, assemblies and pep rallies, Scout-Outs, Navy Night, championship celebrations, etc.
• ALUMNI RECOGNITION: Produce “Where Are They Now” program to promote & celebrate LFHS athletes in college.
