THANKSGIVING MEALS ON WHEELS: On Friday, Nov 28, Saint Andrew's will provide meals to all Collierville MIFA recipients. Please see the sign-up poster in the parish hall. Please note that there is a time change this year. The parish hall will open at 9:45 AM for your food deliveries. We are also asking for approximately 16 small “throws” to accompany the meals. MOMS NEEDED FOR CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: We’ll need Moms to help prepare and guide the children during the 4:00 PM service on Christmas Eve. There are adorable costumes for the kids that need to be organized, and there will be one rehearsal. The children will sing a Christmas carol during the service. Let Fr. Jeff or the office know if you can help with this wonderful service. ORDER OF ST. LUKE TO BEGIN NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTION: Jesus commissioned all of us to “…preach the message the Kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received. Freely give.” (Matt 10:7–8) If you are interested in making Jesus’ ministry of healing and proclamation of the Kingdom a regular part of your vocation, we invite you to learn more about St. Andrew’s Chapter of OSL. EYC MISSION STATEMENT: Our goal as a youth group is to be an all-inclusive community of young believers who set an example for other Christians in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity (1 Tim 4:12). EYC ANNOUNCEMENTS Sat, Nov 22: EYC will play Paintball. We’ll leave from the church at 10:00 AM and return around 1:30 PM. Cost is $25. Wear old clothes— long pants, long sleeves. We’ll be outside so come dressed for the weather. Lunch will be provided. We have only 20 spaces available, so the sooner you pay, the sooner we can reserve your spot! Thu, Nov 27: Thanksgiving Day. Otherwise, come and hang out in the parish hall with all the youth of the parish.
