There is no school on Friday,November 14th. Wednesday, Nov. 12th P/T Conferences = 2:30­ 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13th P/T Conferences = 2:30 ­ 5 & 6 ­8 p.m. Middle school conferences are done on a drop­in basis. Wlementary (Gr. KD­4) set appointment times. Please contact the school office if you are unclear. 7 & 8th Grade Girls Interested in Playing Basketball ­ The sign up sheets are available in the Waldron office, starting now! Small toys (happy meal size) & wrapped candy donations are being accepted once again this year at Waldron School. The donations are collected and sent to families in need who live in the Appalachian mountain range. Your donations will help make some else’s holiday season a little brighter. (Stephanie Thelen 593­3606) Waldron School Food Drive (through Nov. 26th) ­ The Waldron School Food Drive is underway! This year we are hoping to "Pack the Pantry" by filling up our 5 donation bins provided by the Rescue Mission of Lansing. Middle school students are earning class competition points during the collection. Each grade level in the middle school has its own bin conveniently located in the cafeteria. We are also asking that the elementary students team up together to fill the bin labeled K­4, which will be conveniently placed at the end of the elementary hall. There will be a flyer sent home with students today listing the "needs" of the Mission pantry or go to http://www.bearescuer.com/pdfs/NeedsList.pdf. Retakes are set for WEDNESDAY November 12th...if you are not satisfied with your package, return it in it’s entirety on retake day.
