Medical Equipment for the last five. She specializes
in sleep education, therapy and equipment

Muhammad J. Habib, MD, is a pulmonary
specialist with Deaconess Hospital and Critical
Care Medicine. Dr. Habib’s areas of interest are
lung malignancies, lung nodules, histoplasmosis,
interstitial lung diseases including pulmonary
fibrosis, sepsis and related multi-organ damage,
hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator mechanics
and acute respiratory distress syndrome.

Distinguished University Scholar at the University
of Louisville. Dr. Folz was responsible for
developing most of the University of Louisville
advanced lung disease programs and growing the
Jewish Hospital/University of Louisville lung
transplant program.

Pulmonary Fibrosis Partners
This symposium will provide an overview of innovations in pulmonary disease
diagnosis and management including pulmonary fibrosis(PF), and sessions on
the effective use of various types of respiratory equipment frequently required,
engagement of the patient in their own healthcare and the care of a patient prior
to and following lung transplant. The purpose of the program is for the attendee
to be able to implement effective strategies in the effective care and management
of persons with respiratory illness.
Target audience
Respiratory therapists, nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, physicians
and anyone in the community impacted by pulmonary fibrosis.

Cost: $40 for respiratory therapists, nurses, social workers, physicians and
other licensed persons; $5 for students and community participants.

Certificate of completion: Following the conference, a link to an electronic
evaluation and attendance confirmation will be emailed to program attendees.
You must complete the program evaluation and attest to the sessions attended
in order to receive a certificate.
Nurses will receive up to 3.5 contact hours with attendance and submission of
evaluation form.
Refund Policy: Registration fees are refundable, less a $15 service charge,
until November 11. No refunds will be made after that date.
