The Symposium is aimed at

specialists and managers of standards departments, homologation /type approval departments, OEMs and TIER1, public authorities and technical services/homologation service providers. The
symposium will also address all specialists from industry, public
authorities and other institutions who deal with comparable
issues.
The third Homologation Symposium is intended to provide a forum
for an exchange of experiences, for providing updates on new
developments in the area of vehicle homologation, type certification and type approval worldwide and to assist with questions
relating to homologation during the course of daily work.

Conference Languages
The conference languages will be German and English in the
plenary session of the first conference day. Simultaneous
interpretation will be available from German into English on
November 17, 2014.
The workshops of the second conference day will be held in
German without translation.
Questions relating to total vehicle homologation as well as the
homologation of systems and components will be addressed.
On the second conference day in four parallel workshops
specific problems of the type approval process will be described
and discussed more deeply:

Exhaust and emissions
New challenges for commercial vehicles
Small series and individual approvals
