monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
None of the religions in the secular & democratic framework
of the country impose restrictions on organ donation to save a
fellow human being’s life.
Tamil Nadu continues to lead the nation in organ donation.
Collect data for yearly organ transplant in Tamil Nadu from
2008 – 2013. For the year 2013 collect data for the states of
AP , Kerala and Delhi and interpret the data to answer the
following questions.
Evaluate the following:
1) The ratio of number of donors in Tamil Nadu to
Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh to Kerala.
2) The percentage increase in the number of donors in
TN from year 2008 to 2013.
3) The ratio of total organs donated in TN in 2008 to that
in 2013.
4) The increase in the percentage of eye transplants in
TN from 2008 to 2013
5) The ratio of total organ donations in TN to All India
total.
6) The most precious gift is the gift of life. How can one
contribute to encourage more and more people to
participate in this campaign.
