form of dialogue construction, coherently.
 To express their views in the sentences thus framed in the
passive voice, by applying the knowledge thus gained.

Task
Task 1: Prepare a Comic Strip: The students will construct
dialogues about the problems faced during the adolescent age
(between two friends or mother and daughter or father and son),
grammatically correct and coherent using the appropriate
language register.
Task 2: Construct sentences in passive voice about the joys
of adolescent life.
Execution of task / Procedure
The learner has to do two task on an A4 Size sheet.
 Task 1: Prepare a comic strip of dialogue conversation
between two people about the problems faced by an
adolescent and an advice at the end on how to cope up with
that problem.
 The students have to mention the role of parents and of
friends .
 Task 2: The students have to frame 5 sentences about the
joys of adolescent age, in passive voice.
 The rubrics of assessment will be explained to the students in
advance.
 Marks will be allotted for value based inferential study made
by the student.(Why is it necessary to enjoy every phase of
life? How can one cope up with the problems of the teenage
life?)

constructive manner, with a purpose of bringing about a positive
change in their opinion.

Each student has to search on the net and find the following
data. The enrolment of boys and girls separately from
Haryana state board in the year 2009-10 for the Categories
VI-VIII and IX-X
Estimate the enrollment to 10,000 and find:
Q1. The percentage of enrolment of boys in Category VI-VIII.
Q2. The percentage of enrolment of boys in Category IX-X.
Q3. The ratio of boys in VI-VIII to the ratio of boys in IX-X.
Q4. The ratio of girls in VI-VIII to ratio of girls in IX-X.
Value Question: According to OPEPA in Bihar of about
551686 children admitted in class VI in 2011-12 only about
296353 were found in class VIII in 2013-14. Approximately
how many lakhs of dropouts are there during these two
years? Find the main reasons for the dropouts and write
about it.

Q1. You have studied that balanced diet is very important
during adolescence for your growth. Talk with your friends
about the diet they generally take. Discuss and note the
disadvantages of not taking a balanced diet.
Q2. Adolescence is the stage of confusion due to lot of
changes in the body- physical, emotional, mental, intellectual.
Explore the emotional turbulences you are undergoing being
an adolescent. Prepare a list of these emotional changes.
Next to each change, write down the solution that, according
to you can help to overcome the change/problem that you are
facing.
Execution of task / Procedure
Take two A4 size sheets, one for each question.
Write the note on disadvantages of not taking a balanced diet
on first sheet.
On second sheet, draw two columns. In first column, list the
emotional turbulences and in second column, write the
corresponding suggested solution to the problem.
Enhance your answers with the help of illustrations and
diagrams.
