GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Quotatiopn should be accompanied with EMD in the form of DD
amounting to Rs 1080.00 (Rupees One Thousand Eighty only) drawn
in the favor of Senior Accounts officer, ISTRAC.
2-:-Rate quoteasnarroeexCIUsive of service tax. Service tax shall be paid
by the agency and on production of proof of payment the same shall
be reimbursed by Department.
3. Security Deposit to 10% of tender value will be deducted and same
will be released on completion of defect liability period of 03 months
from the date of completion.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT NON-CAMC
FOR DUMB WAITERS INSTALLED AT SECURITY COMPLEX OF DINING HALL
PANEL BYALALU, ISTRAC BANGALORE.
01. DESCRIPTION AND QUANTITY:
DUMB WATIERS -100 kgs handling capacity -2 Nos

Security Complex of dining hall,

03; Period of contract:
This contract is for a period of 01 year from the date of issue of contract with a
provision for extension for a further period of 12 months.
4.0 SCOPE & MAINTENANCE:
The Service shall be inclusive of all service and repair charges towards parts
of dumb waiters. In case of Replacement of spares arises, like Gear Box, wire rope,
and drive motor arises, the same shall be informed which will be provided bv
department.

4.2
The contractor should depute well experienced
and qualified
service
TechniciansjEngineers
for maintenance of the dumb waiters. The downtime
should be kept barest minimum and all the repair works should be attended to
at our site to the extent possible.
4.3
The contract is liable to be terminated by giving One month notice if the work
is not carried out as per terms and conditions stipulated in the contract.

The contract shall ensure that there is no delay in repairing
of the units.

for transport of his
personnel and equipment including the cabins handed over for servicing and
maintenance to contractor workshop in case of need and back to ISTRAC.

Checking of excessive vibration in the unit.
Checking of all electrical connections.
Checking sound level and safety of electrical components and
connections.

The dumb waiters to be maintained and examined regularly once in a month.
The break down calls to be attended during working hours, complaint will be
registered at your control station and complaint number to be issued from your
company.
Repair of motors ,Controllers and machine to be carried out.
Repair of hoist way doors, gates sills, safety edges, car and hoist way enclose, door
frames, Vision glass and frame, car flooring painting, landIng boards and car board,
push buttons, jewels, electric mains, wire rope, trailing cable, wires and coils to be
carried out.
4.7 At the end of the contract period both the dumb waiters should be handed over to
the Department in good working condition.
4.8The contractor should arrange the work as per the time stipulated, subject to
security checks and restrictions of the Department. Contractor's service providers
should wear the identity badges assigned to them while working for identification.

If any of the service providers of the contractor shall break, deface, injure or

completing the job to the satisfaction of Engineer In Charge, shall be arranged
by their own cpst.

responsibility of contractor to keep the equipment covered under the subject
service contract in sound working condition during the tenure of the contract.
The contract shall make his own arrangements for safe guarding our and their
materials and Department will not be responsible for any loss/damage.
In case contractor fails to carry out the works to the satisfaction of Department
and if there is any disruption in the smooth functiomng of the activities,
Department reserves the right to make alternate arrangements for execution of
work at risk and cost of the contractor.
The contractor is wholly responsible for any accident and compensation

Adequate number of Engineers, Supervisors and workmen should be engaged

The contractor should engage service providers who have completed 18 years
of age only shall be physically fir and should not be suffering from any

executing the servicing work at our premises.

It shall be sole responsibility of the contractor to settle disputes if any arising
out of the engagement between himself and the serviced providers engaged by
him and the Department will not in any way responsible in the event the
service providers approach the competent authority under the act of the court.
The expenses incurred if any, in the behalf shall be borne by the contractor.

The service providers employed by the contractor in our premises will have to
strictly adhere to the discipline of the Department. Where ever necessary the
contractor will have to furnish their service providers with necessary safety
appliances and ISTRAC will not be responsible for any accidents and injuries
