Our SNOW DAY, (11/11) will be made up on MONDAY, 12/8
7th and 8th graders should report to their Wednesday trimester classes today.
During this American Education week, the ACGC School Board would like to thank and
congratulate all faculty and staff for continually raising the educational bar for
our students. The collaboration and innovation you all implement every day
at ACGC is a measure that only a few schools will ever achieve.

Sports/Activities:
BBB – V/B/C w/ Litchfield 6:00 - Cheer Team - chili dinner fundraiser during game – Youth Dance
performance at half-time of B-squad & varsity games.
The 8th grade boys’ hoops limited KMS to just 12 points in the first half, but ACGC’s 2 buckets in the second
half allowed the Saints to pull away to a 32-11 win.
The junior high side of the boys’ locker room will be closed at 5:00 on Friday.
The GBB team will travel to BL-H (Hector) on Saturday for a scrimmage. Bus leaves at 8:00 am.
9-12 grade softball players - A great one day camp is available for all positions at the College of St. Benedict
during January! See Mr. Nelson for more details.
Band / Choir News:
Band Concert grades 7-12 – Monday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Prom is holding a make your own ice cream sundae bar fundraiser at the band concert - $3.00 per sundae
Choir Concert grades 5-12 – Monday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Play practice this week:
Fri 11/21- 3:30-6, Sat 11/22 - 9am-12, Monday 11/24-NO PRACTICE -Band concert
Turkey Bingo:
Continuing the tradition -- Turkey BINGO will be held next Tuesday during the last 58 minutes before
Thanksgiving break with your 7th hour classes! Gobble – Gobble!
5th & 6th Grade Students:
The Holiday Gift Surprise is changed to December 1st because we have school on Dec. 8th.
Juniors/Seniors:
You must turn in your college visit form to the office BEFORE you are gone for a college visit. The form may be
found on Mrs. Geurts' Schoology site.
Friday November 21st at 9:00 there will be an admission rep here from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Get a pass from the office to visit with her!
Students:
There are snowmobile safety registration flyers in the office. Training is Saturday, December 6
Seniors:
Sr - Class of 2015 group picture is posted in the office window. Order and pay in the office by November 25,
2014. 7x10=$14.00

Students/Staff/Parents:
Minnesota Twins Perfect Attendance Incentive: One student, that receives perfect attendance for the 20142015 school year will be chosen to represent ACGC at a Twins game! The winner will get a total of 4
tickets for them self and family members.
