The successful tenderer’s vehicles will be subject to a safety inspection by Exxaro. See attached excel file for a list of those checks. Covering the product with tarpaulin during transport is essential. Required Information: 1 Tariff per ton per destination (based on the diesel price of November 2014). Refer Annexure A, excel file. Tenderers who prefer to complete the excel file and send the excel file with their tender MUST SAVE THE EXCEL FILE : READ ONLY AND MUST ALSO PRINT THE EXCEL FILE AND SUBMIT A HARD COPY OF THE EXCEL FILE TO PREVENT CONFUSION CONCERNING THE TARIFFS SUBMITTED AND LOADS PER DAY COMMITTED. 2 Please confirm that only Side Tippers will be utilized. 3 Indicate the loads per day on the attached excel file, Annexure A, to each destination separately. 4 Notification period needed from ArcelorMittal before your company can commence with transport? (I.e. how many days notice period before transporter can commence with transport). Transport to commence on 1 December 2014. 5 The successful transporter/s should have sufficient GIT cover to the value of R700 per ton – proof of GIT MUST be submitted. 6 A copy of your valid BBBEE certificate. If your BBBEE certificate has already expired and you do not have a current valid BBBEE certificate, then at least submit the expired BBBEE certificate. If you do not submit a BBBEE certificate, it will be ArcelorMittal’s understanding that our company does not have a BBBEE certificate. 7 Any other relevant information. Should your company not be registered as a ArcelorMittal vendor, then ArcelorMittal will only be able to make use of your services once our Vendor Department has audited your company and approved your company as a vendor. As soon as your company is registered as a Vendor with ArcelorMittal, or if you are already an approved Vendor of ArcelorMittal, then you will have to submit all relevant documents for your Safety File to be approved by ArcelorMittal and the relevant Plant (Vanderbijlpark, Newcastle and Pretoria) prior to any transport.
