This information forms part of the terms and conditions of registration for the 2014 U.G.L.Y.
Bartender of the Year Campaign. Registration to participate is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1.
The promoter is Leukaemia Foundation of Australia (ABN 57057493017) of 230 Lutwyche Road, WINDSOR QLD
4030 (telephone (07) 3866 4000) ('Promoter').
2.
The travel partner is Go Cruising Pty Ltd c/of Shop 8 211-225 Old South Road, Old Reynella SA 5161 ('Travel
Partner').
3.
The promotion commences at 12.01am in your state (Sydney time, Darwin time, Adelaide time, Hobart time,
Melbourne time, Perth time), on 1 October 2014 and ends at 11.59pm in your state (Sydney time, Darwin time,
Adelaide time, Hobart time, Melbourne time, Perth time), on 17 November 2014.

Winners are assessed on funds banked by 11.59pm local time in the state of registration on 17 November
2014. Participants are able to commence fundraising from the time of registration in 2014.
5.
Entry in each state competition is open only to bartenders, aged 18 years or over, employed in a licensed
premise located in the relevant state: ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC and WA.
6.
There may only be one entrant per premise.
7.
All entrants must accept the Promoter’s waiver as a condition of entry.
8.
All fundraising should be conducted in a legal and appropriate manner in line with local state fundraising laws
and the Leukaemia Foundation fundraising guidelines. Please contact the Leukaemia Foundation in your state
to ensure your fundraising complies with Leukaemia Foundation guidelines prior to promoting or commencin g
fundraising.
9.
The Leukaemia Foundation supports responsible service and consumption of alcohol.
10. The first prize will be awarded to the entrant who has banked the highest dollar amount into the Promoter’s
nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state. The entrant must pay-in a minimum
of $1,000 to be eligible.
11. The second prize will be awarded to the entrant who has banked the second highest dollar amount into the
Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state. The entrant must pay-in
a minimum of $1,000 to be eligible.
12. The third prize will be awarded to the entrant who has banked the third highest dollar amount into the
Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state. The entrant must pay-in
a minimum of $1,000 to be eligible.
13. The fourth prize will be awarded to the entrant who has banked the fourth highest dollar amount into the
Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state. The entrant must pay-in
a minimum of $1,000 to be eligible.
14. The fifth prize will be awarded to the entrant who has banked the fifth highest dollar amount into the
Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state. The entrant must pay-in
a minimum of $1,000 to be eligible.
15. The Top 5 fundraisers in each state will not be placed in any subsequent prize draws.

16. Other state entrants banking over $1,000 (other than the top five fundraisers in their state) will be placed in
one of three prize draws. Each entrant will be placed in the draw for the total they have raised. Entrants are
only placed in one draw, namely the highest for which they qualify.
17. To qualify for the $1,000 draw, entrants must bank a minimum of $1, 000 - $2,499.99 into the Promoter’s
nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state to be eligible to receive a prize or be
entered into the prize draw.
18. To qualify for the $2,500 draw, entrants must bank a minimum of $2,500 - $4,999.99 into the Promoter’s
nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state to be eligible to receive a prize or be
entered into the prize draw.
19. To qualify for the $5,000 draw, entrants must bank a minimum of $5,000 or more into the Promoter’s
nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November 2014 in their state to be eligible to receive a prize or be
entered into the prize draw.
20. The top 5 winning entrants and the 3 draw winners in each state will be notified no later than Friday, 29
November 2014 at 12noon (Sydney time, Darwin time, Adelaide time, Hobart time, Melbourne time, Perth
time) by telephone. The winners will also receive confirmation by mail by 13 December 2014.
21. 12. The 2014 U.G.L.Y Bartender of the Year First Prize for Highest Fundraiser in each state is a 5 night cruise, for
2 adults, valued at $2,500 provided by Go Cruising. This prize cannot be redeemed for cash, and must taken in
full one holiday booking. The prize includes:
(a) 2 x adult return economy airfares from the winner’s state capital airport to state capital city’s cruise departure port with
an airline specified by Go Cruising. Please note: transfers to and from the winner’s capital city airport is the responsibility
of the winner.
(b) Five (5) nights twin share accommodation on a cruise ship Ex Syd/Mel/Bne/WA as specified by Go Cruising:

(d) The prize does not include spending money, meals additional to those included in the prize provided, drinks or any
extras of a personal nature, e.g. tips, telephone, laundry. These are the responsibility of the winners and their nominated
travel companion.
(e) The winner and their nominated travel companion may choose to upgrade any prize travel using cash. Frequent Flyer
points will not be accrued from prize flights or on any prize accommodation. The winners and their nominated travel
companions must travel together on the same flights /cruise on all sectors (stopovers are not permitted, unless negotiated
directly with, and with the approval of, Go Cruising).
(f) All prize winners must contact Go Cruising by 25 January 2015, and must be undertaken by 1 December 2015. If a
winner cannot travel within these periods, the prize will be forfeited. If for any reason a winner does not take an element o f
the prize during the stated periods, and on the conditions stipulated by, then that element of the prize will be forfeited and
cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Bookings must be made through Go Cruising at least 8 weeks
in advance of the date of departure. The prize is valued at $2,500 and flight and cruise options may be influenced by
supplier seasonal pricing fluctuations. Prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Flight schedules and cruise arrangements are subject to change without notice. Prize travel is subject to fare rules and Go
Cruisings’ chosen airline’s General Conditions of Carriage. No changes to travel arrangements can be made once tickets
have been issued. Tickets will not be exchanged for another destination, unless negotiated directly with, and with the
approval of, Go Cruising.

22. The Second Highest Fundraiser in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) will win an LG 60” FULL HD
SMART LED-LCD TELEVISION (Model LG60LB5820 or equivalent) as specified by the Promoter. Prize will be
either presented at the presentation event or available for collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.
23. The Third Highest Fundraiser each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) will win an LG 50” FULL HD
SMART LED-LCD TELEVISION (Model LG50LB5820 or equivalent) and a LG 310W SOUNDBAR (Model
LGNB4530A or equivalent) as specified by the Promoter. Prize will be either presented at the presentation
event or available for collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.
24. The Fourth Highest Fundraiser in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) will win an LG 42” FULL HD
LED-LCD TELEVISION (Model LG42LB5610 or equivalent) as specified by the Promoter. Prize will be either
presented at the presentation event or available for collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.
25. The Fifth Highest Fundraiser in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) will win an LG 1000W
WIRELESS 3D BLU-RAY HOME THEATER SYSTEM (Model LGBH6530TW or equivalent) presentation event or
available for collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.

26. The $1,000 draw will be conducted on, 19 November 2014 at noon in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC,
and WA) offering a prize of a 30W WIRELESS SPEAKER WITH DUAL DOCK (Model LGND5630 or equivalent). All
registrants who have banked a minimum of $1000 into the Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm
on 17 November 2014 in their state will be entered in the ‘Just for being U.G.L.Y.’ draw, excepting registrants
who have won a Top 5 Fundraiser prize. Prize will be either presented at the presentation event or available for
collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.
27. The $2,500 draw will be conducted on, 19 November 2014 at noon in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC,
and WA) offering a prize of an LG 310W SOUNDBAR (Model LGNB4530A or equivalent). All registrants who
have banked a minimum of $2,500 into the Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm on 17 November
2014 in their state will be entered in the ‘Just for being U.G.L.Y.’ draw, excepting registrants who have won a
Top 5 Fundraiser prize. Prize will be either presented at the presentation event or available for collection from
a JB HiFi store in each state.
28. The $5,000 draw will be conducted on, 19 November 2014 at noon in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC,
and WA) offering a prize of an LG 42” FULL HD LED-LCD TELEVISION (Model LG42LB5610 or equivalent). All
registrants who have banked a minimum of $5,000 into the Promoter’s nominated bank account by 11.59pm
on 17 November 2014 in their state will be entered in the ‘Just for being U.G.L.Y.’ draw, excepting registrants
who have won a Top 5 Fundraiser prize. Prize will be either presented at the presentation event or available for
collection from a JB HiFi store in each state.
29. The U.G.L.Y Venue of the Year in each state (ACT/NSW, NT, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA) will win the state’s winning
Bartender U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year trophy and can choose from either Hoshizaki or Lancer Beverage
Systems range of products and services to the value of $7,500.
The winning bartender from this venue must pay-in a minimum of $10,000 to be eligible for the Hoshizaki
Lancer prize.
(a)
The U.G.L.Y Venue of the Year shall be the premise that has employed the state’s highest fundraising
U.G.L.Y Bartender of the Year 2014 for the duration of the campaign, from 12.01am in your state (Sydney
time, Darwin time, Adelaide time, Hobart time, Melbourne time, Perth time) Wednesday, 1 October 2014
and ends at 11.59pm in your state on Monday, 17 November 2014 (Sydney time, Darwin time, Adelaide
time, Hobart time, Melbourne time, Perth time).
30. The prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to take the prizes
as stated. Prizes cannot be redeemed as cash and are non-transferable.
31. The Promoter and all suppliers of prizes, will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever
(including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection
with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion, or the use of any prize, except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
