· UTSA fell to 9-4 all-time in the month of November with the loss.
· Senior S Triston Wade led UTSA’s defense with seven tackles and he leads the Roadrunners with 81 tackles, nine pass
breakups, four interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries this season. The Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist holds program
career records for tackles (288), passes defended (34), interceptions (12), forced fumbles (8) and fumble recoveries (6).
· Redshirt freshman QB Austin Robinson made his fourth start of the season and finished with 110 total yards (60 pass/50
rush) and he now has 645 passing yards and 222 rushing yards this fall.
· True freshman QB Dalton Sturm saw his first career action in the second half and he completed all three of his passes for
59 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown to true freshman WR Kerry Thomas Jr. in the fourth quarter, which was his first
career TD catch.
· Robinson and Sturm, who saw his first career action, combined to complete 11 passes to eight different receivers for 119
yards. Eighteen different Roadrunners have caught a pass this year.
· Sturm completed a 13-yard pass to senior FB Nate Shaw in the fourth quarter and that was Shaw’s first touch since
hauling in a 7-yard pass against McNeese State on Nov. 10, 2012.
· Senior P Kristian Stern averaged 41.3 yards yards on seven punts, including six into the wind, and he saw four of them
downed inside the 20. Stern is averaging 41.5 on 77 punts this season, both of which are school records.
· Senior C Nate Leonard made his 45th career start today. The National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete is the only
player in program history to start all 45 games.
· The 38-point loss was the biggest margin of defeat in program history.
· The 28-0 halftime deficit matched the largest in program history (35-7 vs. Oklahoma State, 2013/38-10 vs. San Jose
State, 2012).
· Seniors WR Seth Grubb, DT Ferrington Macon, FB Nate Shaw and FS Triston Wade served as game captains.
