UTSA (4-8, 3-5 C-USA)
· UTSA improved to 7-0 at home and 10-4 overall all-time in the month of November.
· UTSA closed the season with 19 forced turnovers (10 FR/9 INT). Senior WR Marcellus Mack came away with a muffed North
Texas punt late in the fourth quarter that helped seal the victory.
· The Roadrunners gained a season-high 452 yards of offense in the victory. Senior QB Tucker Carter’s 277 yards passing and
the team’s 175 yards on the ground both were seasons bests. UTSA’s previous high was 272 yards passing at Florida Atlantic
(Sept. 27), while its most rushing yards prior to today’s effort was 169 yards against Southern Miss (Nov. 13).
· Senior RB David Glasco II rushed for 99 yards and a score on 15 carries. The San Antonio native finished the year with 570
yards on 150 carries, both single-season records, and his closed his career with program records of 1,752 yards and 20
touchdowns on 400 rushes to go along with 109 yards and a pair of scores on 20 receptions. The Wagner HS product owns the
UTSA career mark for total touchdowns with 22.
· Senior QB Tucker Carter went 18-for-29 with a career-high 277 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns and added a 2-yard
score on the ground in his first action since the first half of the Rice contest on Nov. 8. The Allen native was 5-for-5 for 59 yards
on the opening drive that was capped by a 24-yard TD pass to senior WR Marcellus Mack. Carter finished his two-year career
with 1,273 yards and five touchdowns on 119-of-200 through the air, all marks that rank second on UTSA’s career chart.
· On the season, 19 different Roadrunners caught a pass. Senior QB Tucker Carter completed his 18 passes to 11 different
receivers today.
· Senior S Triston Wade had five tackles, including three solo stops, and a pass breakup. The Tyler John Tyler HS product led
the Roadrunners with 86 tackles, 47 solo stops, four interceptions, 14 passes defended and a pair of fumble recoveries this
season. The Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist established program career records for tackles (293), solo stops (164), assisted
tackles (129), passes defended (35), interceptions (12), forced fumbles (8) and fumble recoveries (6).
· Sophomore S Michael Egwuagu led the defense with eight tackles, including four solo stops, and a forced fumble, all of which
came in the second half.
· Senior C Nate Leonard made his 46th career start today. The McKinney native and National Football Foundation ScholarAthlete is the only player in program history to start all 46 games.
· Today’s attendance was 24,012. UTSA drew 165,458 fans for six home games in 2014 for an average of 27,576 per game. In
four seasons, the Roadrunners have seen 729,221 fans attend 24 home games at the Alamodome, an average of 30,384.
· Seniors QB Tucker Carter, OG Scott Inskeep, DT Ferrington Macon and S Triston Wade served as captains for today’s game.
