Enjoy the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. I am extremely thankful to our school community for the support

A friendly reminder regarding early dismissal…
Students in grades 6-8 grade are required to have a signed note from their parent or guardian stating permission to walk
to the local deli or Red Rooster after school. Students are not permitted to return to school as there is no supervision
available. If they are in basketball they should not return to school until the scheduled time. Thank you for your
cooperation.
SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE DAY
 Monday, November 24th is scheduled for retakes for those students who were absent on School Picture Day.
At that time if any original pictures were somehow flawed (e.g. eyes closed), retakes can be made. If you desire a
retake, you must bring the original picture package with you to return to the photographer. The photographer needs
this to see which package was purchased and how much was paid. Please note that the originals are not kept and the
retake will be your final picture. Club/sports/activity pictures will also be taken on this day.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for today and Monday, the 24th and Tuesday the 25th. There is a 12:45 p.m.

format. Middle School teachers will be available to meet individually with parents in an arena-style setting in the gym*.

OPERATION HOLIDAY
Operation Holiday is here! The remarkable generosity of our Harding Township School families and staff means that we
are able to adopt the wish lists of eighteen needy families this holiday season; that local human service agencies have
identified as most in need of our help.
Your child's homeroom teacher will be sending home a letter, with all the details, before the Thanksgiving break, so our
families can take advantage of the holiday sales. Please email him/her with any questions or Lisa Werner, Operation
Holiday HTS Coordinator at [email protected].
Thanks again for your generous support of this HTS tradition. In these difficult economic times, any contributions to the
Operation Holiday families are greatly appreciated. As we come together as a school community, we have the
opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of these eighteen families.
