Prayers for Home & Foreign Missions
* Praise God that the leaders of the Western Baptist Convention in Cuba are
making plans to send out the first “Missionaries to the Nations” from their
island, and ask Him to go before them in His perfect timing and His perfect
plan.
* Many members of Mexico’s ethnic population are moving to the cities to
find work, and the largest cities are growing rapidly, outpacing the evangelical church’s outreach, so pray for a vision to reach the ethnicities represented
in the cities and a movement of church planting that will reach thousands of
neighborhoods.
* Please lift up seven Ilonggo farmers in the Philippines who have begun a
new three-month, live-in agricultural/Bible training “school,” asking that they
will learn how to increase the productivity of their farmland and return to
their communities equipped to share the Gospel and disciple new believers.
* In a country closed to a traditional Gospel witness, it’s very difficult to find
resources to study the Bible, so please pray for pastors in Laos who are starving for biblical training, asking that they will find ways to learn more about
the Bible and more about how to lead their people well.
