1) Am I registered as a student?
• Student database (not employee database)
• Generally admission must first be granted

2) How do I register for courses?
Or can I register after the deadline?
• StudentWeb
• Send e-mail request to [email protected]
• Do not forget about the registration deadlines!
• Too late to register at exam time

3) How do I register for an individual course?
• Submit completed form to SiT by the deadline
• Course registration is performed by SiT and not at your
department

4) Can I re-take an exam?
• Yes! You are allowed 3 attempts.
• Re-examinations are possible – rules vary
• Registration possible through either StudentWeb
or by e-mail request to [email protected]

5) Can/Must I pay the semester fee?
• Semester registrations fees optional for:
- Quota students
- NORAD financed
• Semester fee invoice by request only.

6) How do I renew my study permit?
• Begin process approximately 6 weeks before
current permit expires
• Check-list available on NMBU website
• Study progression report obtained at SiT
