Instructions: Adding a Confidentiality Statement to Email Adding a confidentiality statement at the bottom of your email signature: 1. In Outlook, click File. 2. Add the confidentiality statement to your signature: This email message, including any attachments, is for sole use of the intended recipient and may contain confidential and privileged information. Any unauthorized review, use, disclosure, or distribution is prohibited. If you are not the intended recipient, please contact the sender by reply email and delete the original and all copies of this email. 6. Click the OK button. 7. Click the next OK button. 8. In a new message or in the message you are working on, click the ‘expand’ button for tags. 2. A new window will open. In the drop-down box for sensitivity, select confidential. 3.
