MOVIE: AMERICA: No, this isn’t
a patriotic movie. America is
the name of a 17-year-old boy
who has grown up in foster
care. About to “age out” of the
system that’s left him abused
and angry, he also wants to
check out of life. A suicide
attempt lands him at a residential treatment facility, where
a therapist (Rosie O’Donnell)
helps him turn his emotional
life around. Newcomer Philip
Johnson plays America in this
new drama, which O’Donnell
also executive produced. 8 p.m.

LAW & ORDER: Lupo and
Bernard (Jeremy Sisto,
Anthony Anderson) are called
to a crime scene where a
woman has been found murdered. It seems her husband
insisted the family live environmentally friendly to avoid
leaving a heavy carbon footprint. But with a little digging,
they discover her behavior
left a little to be desired. Hey,
it’s not easy being green. Then
Cutter (Linus Roache) is determined to expose misconduct
when an old friend working the
trial is obstructing justice.
