Beltz, 81, of Decatur passed
away on Monday, July 14, 2014
in his home.
Larry was born on July 18,
1932 in Carterville, IL the son
of Leo and Zola
(Parmly) Beltz.
He served his
country proudly
in the U.S. Air
Force and was
a member of
Macon 8 A.F. &
Larry Beltz
A.M. and member of the Valley
of Springfield
A.A.S.R. He was
AIR FORCE
an electrician
for 40 years working for the
Wabash Rail Road, Firestone,
and Revere Copper in Clinton.
He also worked at the Crab
Orchard Lake Boat & Yacht Club
in Carterville. He married Linda
Hurley on March 16, 1984 in
Decatur, IL, she survives.
Larry is the loving father of
Robert Beltz (Shirley) of Marion,
IL; Barbara Brooks (Steve) of
Decatur, IL; Roger Beltz of
Cambria, IL; Arlen Skinner
(Thersia) of Decatur, IL; Angela
Langford (Nelson) of La Place,
IL; Charles Skinner (Claira) of
Laclede, MO; and John Skinner
(Pebbles) of West Moreland,
TN; sisters, Shirley Desatnik of
Indianapolis, IN; Louise Beltz
of Herrin, IL; 22 grandchildren,
and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death
by his parents, daughter Cindy
Able, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
The family would like to
thank the Harbor Light Hospice
staff especially Beth, Sherry,
Terri, Ashley and Magic Marilyn
for all their care of Larry.

Fred Eichel in
1933. He preceded her in
Helen Eichel death in 1984.

Helen had a generous spirit,

Camp in 1947 in Wisconsin.
