A former airgun pellet
maker has come out of
retirement to launch a
revolutionary alternative
to CO2 cartridges.
Luke (Luciano) Camilleri,
best known to the trade
as the one­time
managing director of L J
Cammell (Merseyside),
has unveiled a
compressed air
cylinder, called the
Proton X­LC2, as an
alternative power
source for CO2 guns.
The British­designed
system – now made in
France – has been
tested in all current
pistols on the market
and Luke claims it offers
superior performance to
traditional capsules.
What’s more, he says
the stainless steel air
cylinder can be charged
for free forever, with a
standard compressed
air filling system and an
adaptor, and offers
greater power and
consistency.
