Rotarian Rick Brisco a flight instructor during the war introduced his good friend Ross and noted the presence at our meeting of Rotarian Frank Archibald, age 99, a decorated soldier of the war. In his opening remarks, Ross spoke of Remembrance Day as a celebration of the lives and service of friends present and gone. He pointed out that veterans of WW II are dying at the rate of 500 a week; soon we will run out of veterans of that great conflict. He quoted from an essay by Fr.
