WAFF collaborated with Disney, Nickelodeon and PBS to produce a childrenʼs music video version of "We Are Family" that currently airs as a PSA on all three channels. The video brought together over 100 beloved children's characters from Big Bird to SpongeBob SquarePants, and marks the first time in history that the three networks worked together on a collaborative project. In October of 2002, WAFF teamed up with Court TV and Cable in the Classroom, to produce a free half hour educational program and accompanying curriculum entitled, “Empowering Children in the Aftermath of Hate” reaching over 7.6 million people.
