A. BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF .................................................................................... $ 2,685.00 *
Our fee for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to: staff to respond to initial request for
service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of
necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices;
coordination with those providing final disposition of the deceased. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses
relative to our facilities, such as insurance, taxes, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs,
equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the
funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and
forwarding or receiving remains.

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements,

funeral establishment within a 30 mile radius, care of remains, local transportation to the crematory, crematory charges and
temporary cremated remains container. This fee does not include embalming, coordination of cemetery arrangements, visitation
or funeral ceremonies, or other goods such as a cremation urn. Fee does not include delivery of cremated remains.
Minnesota law does not require you to purchase a casket for cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can
use an alternative container. Alternative container encases the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition
materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are cardboard or wood.
Payment must be made in full at time of arrangements.
