Meet with Region XIII’’s School Ready Collaborative Coordinator to create a strategic prekindergarten plan
for the 2010-2011 school year.
Plan professional development sessions for July and August for all prekindergarten teachers to learn how
to prepare their classrooms and learning centers for the 2010-2011 school year.
Provide prekindergarten teachers with opportunities in August to prepare their classroom learning
centers in alignment with the expectations of the grant.
Purchase materials and resources for each classroom to ensure successful implementation.

Meet with Janice Eassau from Region XIII to create Memorandums of Understanding with Children’s
Courtyard, Manor ISD’s Child Development Center, and Child’s Inc.
Meet with representatives from Children’s Courtyard, Manor ISD’s CDC, and Child’s Inc. respectively to
enter into contractual agreements, outlining each MOU.
Create a Pre-Kindergarten Information Booklet for clear communication among all stakeholders.
Provide information to all parents and stakeholders through pre-registration, flyers, letters, and information
booklets.
Meet with each child care center three times throughout the year.

Coordinate with Region XIII to allow teachers to attend the School Ready Pre-K kick-off on August 18, 2010.
Provide on-going monthly training with Region XIII coaches for all Pre-K teachers at Central Office.
Meet with pre-k coaches and pre-k teachers to address areas of growth and collaborate with coaches to
provide professional development to those teachers.
Provide all teachers with a camera for video-taping purposes and reflective conversations with coaches
Attend Leadership institute for School Ready Collaborative grant to learn how to support the pre-kindergarten
teachers and program.
