Junior Staff Internship Application The Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) is delighted that you are interested in interning with us! For decades, CMOM has been a destination and resource where schools and families of all backgrounds come to learn, play and grow together. At CMOM, we take pride in our mission to prepare children to succeed in school, help families live healthy lives, and nurture a new generation of creative and global citizens through a unique environment of interactive exhibitions and programs. As an intern you will gain real world experience and relevant skills that support your education and career exploration. Our Junior Staff Internship program helps scholars become critical, independent thinkers and active members of NYC’s cultural, scientific and artistic community. Before you take the time to fill out the application please be aware of the following: Summer Session Selected weekdays from 10am- 3pm and Fridays from 11am-4 pm Qualifications and Important Information: As a high school intern you will be an active part of our education team, assisting tours and camp groups, learning life skills, building new experiences and developing leadership skills.    You must be able to commit to all days and times of the program session. Summer Session runs throughout July and August. You must be a high school Sophomore, Junior or Senior; or an equivalent grade level. Requirements  You must submit a completed application and send it via e-mail to [email protected].  You must also have a recommendation letter sent by email or hard copy to CMOM. This can be an educational or professional recommendation.  Please note that we will only notify those applicants we are interested in interviewing.
