On behalf of our entire theater company, I would like
to welcome and thank you for attending our second
theatrical production of our 2013-2014 season. In
conjunction with the Friends of The Key Largo
Cultural Center, we are excited to present CABARET,
the 1998 Revival, Book by Joe Masteroff , Music and
Lyrics by Kander and Ebb.
We at Ginsberg Productions are dedicated to promoting an awareness and appreciation of
the performing arts by providing live, quality theatrical performances at very affordable
prices. In addition to providing a vehicle for for performing artists, Ginsberg Productions
provides a supportive and creative work opportunity for members of the Florida-based
theatre community, enabling the creation and production of new works for adults and
children. Our uniqueness is twofold in that we choose to support philanthropic causes in
these areas by allowing them to utilize our productions for their fundraising needs while
we absorb all or part of the production costs and we provide first-class entertainment to
senior residential assisted living facilities at no cost to them.
However, in order to continue our labor of love, we need your assistance. We understand
that uncertainties in the economy are causing a shrinking supply of charitable dollars. If as
we hope, we are to become an important part of the Monroe County cultural landscape,

Synopsis
Cabaret is a musical based on a book written by Christopher Isherwood, music by John
Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The 1966 Broadway production became a hit, inspiring and
spawning numerous subsequent productions in London and New York, as well as a 1972
film by the same name.
It is based on John Van Druten's 1951 play I Am a Camera, which was adapted from the
short novel Goodbye to Berlin (1939) by Christopher Isherwood. Set in 1931 Berlin as the
Nazis are rising to power, it is based in nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub, and revolves
around an English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with an American
writer Cliff Bradshaw.
The scene is a nightclub in Berlin, as the 1920's are drawing to a close. The Master of
Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their
troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. His songs provide wry commentary
throughout the show. On the train to Berlin we find Cliff, an American writer, and Ernst, a
German who surprises Cliff by putting his briefcase among Cliff's luggage at the German
border. History is in the process of being made. Musical numbers include "Mein Herr",
"Maybe This Time", "It Couldn't Please Me More", "Willkommen", "Cabaret", "Don't Tell
Mama" and "Two Ladies". We find Cliff on the train again, now leaving Berlin alone. He
writes about Sally and the people of Berlin leading up to the Third Reich. It has been a
tumultuous and heartbreaking era.
A sub-plot involves the doomed romance between German boarding house owner Fräulein
Schneider and her elderly suitor Herr Schultz, a Jewish fruit vendor. Overseeing the action
is the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub. The club serves as a metaphor for the
threatening state of late Weimar Germany.

WHO'S WHO
Andreina Kasper "Nina" (Emcee) is a Singer/cellist/pianist/arranger. She
studied cello performance at new world school of the arts. She has
accompanied Latin artist such as Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, David Bisbal,
Gilberto Santa Rosa and many more. Also, went on tour with the band
Camila. Also, she was part of the first season of Viva El Sueno, as the
principal cellist. Performed at the Miami life awards. She was invited to
sing the national anthem for the Venezuelan embassy in Houston, Texas.
She is a full time teacher at International school of music. She was part of
a one in lifetime theater experience at Microteatro. She is super excited to
play the role of the Emcee, which is usually played by a man.
Serena Salva (Sally Bowles) a Miami native has been performing since
the young age of three. Though she has been on television and danced
for crowds her favorite place to be is on a theatre stage. She was a
student of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York
where she learned that this was truly her passion in life. This is her
sixth show with Director Debra Ginsberg where she has played in
Chorus Line as Sheila Bryant, The Producers as a Chorus Girl and was
the show’s choreographer, Chicago as Roxi Hart, The Rocky Horror
Show, a Phantom and Steel Magnolias as M’Lynn Eatenton. She has also playedroles as Anna
Leonowens in The King and I, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, Urchin in The Little Shop of
Horrors, Lisa in A Boy’s Life, and Shelby in Steel Magnolias. She would like to thank, Debra
Ginsberg for pushing her to be the best, and her family and friends for always supporting and
believing in her. Mom you are my rock!
Michael Vadnal (Clifford Bradshaw) Michael, a native of Cleveland, is
thrilled to be a part of this great production! After studying acting,
theatre, and music at Broward College, Michael auditioned for Mr. Burt
Reynolds to be a part of the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre
in Jupiter, Florida. Mr. Reynolds accepted Michael into his class and
Michael had the incredible experience of studying under Mr. Reynolds
from 2003 through 2012. Michael performed in numerous showcases
under the direction of Mr. Reynolds and Mr. Reynolds selected Michael
to be his stand-in for an ESPN Commercial. Michael’s theatre credits
include Return To The Forbidden Planet (Ariel the Robot) at the Actors’
Playhouse in Coral Gables, CATS (Munkustrap), Oleanna (John),
Dr. Parker (Bat Boy the Musical) and Brad (Rocky Horror Show).
Michael’s film credits include Natale A Miami (Serial Killer), The Bahama Hustle (Earl/F.B.I.
Agent) and Real Vice: Miami (Agent Hanlon).
Michael plays the piano and drums and has played with numerous show bands in the South
Florida area to include The Drifters, The Ink Spots and The Tokens. Michael has written a
musical titled “I DON’T CARE” which is going to be produced in the very near future (stay
tuned)! In “real life” Michael is a detective with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims

Steve Goldstein (Herr Schultz) Steve wears many hats. Tonight he is
wearing Herr Schultz's. Willkomen. Enjoy the show. Steve is an actor,
teacher, director and puppeteer. He is a member of NYC's Big Apple Circus
Clown Care division in Miami. Steve's acting and puppetry skills landed him
a principle role in the children's TV series: ,Memoirs of A Fairy Godmother,
starring the late Rosemary De Camp. Steve worked with the Puppet People
in NYC and currently teaches puppetry to young adults and seniors. As a
director, Steve directed a very successful run of, Lend Me A Tenor, for The
Miami Acting Company and has directed plays for young audiences and
students with special needs. As an actor, Steve has performed in regional
theater, dinner theater and summer stock across the country. Favorite roles include, Al
Lewis-The Sunshine Boys, Senex-A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum,
Schmendiman-Picasso At The Lapine Agile. Steve had the privilege of performing with the
original Frauline Schneider, The Legendary Lotte Lenya in her last production of, The Three
penny Opera. Thanks Debra for asking me to join you on stage as Herr Schultz. to quote,F.S.,"I am
Overvelmed"

Stephen Gair (Ernst Ludwig) is excited to be performing again with
Ginsberg Productions, having last been seen as both Eddie and as the
Narrator in the 2013 Rocky Horror Show. Other past musical
performances include Roger DeBris in The Producers, Mushnik in Little
Shop of Horrors, Cladwell in Urinetown, the Minstrel in Once Upon a
Mattress and Samuel in the Pirates of Penzance. He’s extremely proud of
his multiple characters in The Laramie Project, The Dining Room and
Actors’ Playhouse’s summer production of Anne of Green Gables. Steve
will never forget his first lead as David in Social Security and his first
Shakespearean role as Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing. When not
emoting on stage, Steve finds an audience with Miami Dade Public
Schools where he is a clinical trainer and school social worker. He is proud to be a board member
and the publicist of the Main Street Players, a community theater celebrating their 40th
anniversary.
Stephanie Sandoval (Fraulein Koste) is beyond blessed and grateful to
be working with this talented cast and production team. She has just
graduated from Florida International University’s Theatre program and
is excited to continue growing as an artist. During her time at FIU,
Stephanie was seen in For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide
When the Rainbow Is Enuf, Twelfth Night, Medea, and The Last Days of
Judas Iscariot. She would especially like to thank Debra for her
continued support and belief in her talents. You’ve made her first
exploits as a professional actress, one she will never forget. Thank you.
Amedeo Falgiatore (Victor / Gorilla) has spent over 50 years in show
business. From playing an Indian Dancer in a high school production
of Annie get your Gun, he went on to receive a vocal scholarship to the
University of Miami. While there, he performed leading roles in
several operas, and went on to sing professionally with Opera
companies and Symphony Orchestras in other parts of the United
States. Not content with working only as a singer, he went on to study
acting, and began to appear professionally in stage plays and Musicals
as well as Opera. After the events of Sept. 11th offered a chance at early
retirement from his ‘ day job ‘ at Delta Airlines , Amedeo has spent his
time doing what he loves best, acting full time.
Amedeo has appeared in over 80 stage productions. In addition, in the past 11 years, he has
appeared in over 300 films, TV shows or commercials, as well as singing in concerts, musicals,
and occasionally appearing as a professional story teller. Amedeo has been a professional
Cantor and soloist in catholic, protestant and Jewish services. In 2008, 2009, and 2012 Amedeo
has appeared in Papageno, an In the Schools production for the Florida Grand Opera. This is
Amedeo’s 5th production with Debra Ginsberg as director, having appeared in earlier
productions which include, Roy in the Odd Couple, Deuteronomy in 2 productions of Cats,
Selsdon in Noises Off, and Mr. Marks and other roles in The Producers, and Riff Raff in The
Rock Horror Show. Amedeo wishes to thank Debra, for the opportunity to appear in this fine
production of Cabaret.
Burgess Warren (Bobby / Customs Officer) Burgess is originally from
Penzance, England (Yes, as in Pirates of Penzance) and was born in a
pub owned by his parents, but grew up in London near Wimbledon. As
a young boy he performed in many amateur musicals at the Richmond
Theater including the Song of Norway, Carousel and the Gondoliers. He
also sang with the Wandsworth Schoolboys choir, which, at that time,
was the English equivalent of the Vienna Boys choir. The choir
performed at many leading venues in England including the Albert Hall,
St Paul’s Cathedral and the Festival Halls. Recordings were made with
composer Benjamin Britten and conductors Sir Colin Davis & George
Solti. Burgess worked his way up to lead boy soloist until tragically,
during the summer of 1970, his voice went through the change!
A long time resident of Key Largo since 1993, he has recently been in The Producers (the
singing storm trooper), Chicago (Amos Hart), Man of La Mancha (The Governor) and The
Rocky Horror Show (Dr. Scott). Burgess is thrilled to have the opportunity to work again with
Debra Ginsberg Productions & be a part of quality live musical theater, especially in his
adopted home town!
Maria (Tory) Ruiz-Legg, (Lulu / Chanteuse) - Advanced Placement
English teacher at School for Advanced Studies, is delighted to return
to the stage in The Rocky Horror Show as Columbia. Her previous
roles include Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Annie the merry murderess in
Chicago, Adelaide from Guys and Dolls in “A Broadway Review,” and
an old lady, an accountant, a storm trooper, and a hooker in The
Producers. It is with great appreciation that Tory would like to thank
Anthony Legg, Rowan Hernandez and Miriam Ruiz for their support as well as
Debra Ginsberg and the rest of the Company for the opportunity to perform with this stellar cast.

Debbie Hess (Rosy) was born in Newbury, England. She has always had
an artistic streak, and as a young girl she was always involved in theatrical
productions, dancing, and even public TV broadcasting. Debbie has
wanted to be a performer since she was a little girl. However, knowing
how difficult it is to break into and succeed in show business, she prepared
herself, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science. She became a teacher,
and teaches second and third graders at The Academy at Ocean Reef.
When she's not acting, teaching, or dancing she also moonlights as an
artist, her works are exhibited at the Key Largo Art Gallery at mm 103.

(ensemble, and playing Mona for “Cell block Tango” from Chicago). The Rocky Horror Show
(Magenta) second production. Debbie would like to thank her family, who never complain
when she is off rehearsing, and when they are asked to watch and hear her practicing in the
kitchen or living room (whether they want to or not!). Another big thank you goes out to Debra
Ginsberg, who is always a wonderful and professional director/friend to work with. Debbie also
feels she has an extended theatrical family whilst working with Ginsberg Productions, and has
made some life long friends along the way!
Darlene Moore, (Texas) a South Florida native is thrilled to be part of
this amazing cast. At age 7, Darlene started dance lessons, performing
at various venues in her earlier years. By day, she is the Senior Vice
President, Private Banking Manager at Gibraltar Private Bank &
Trust in Ocean Reef, Key Largo. After many years in the banking
business and raising her twin daughters, she is back on the stage
again. Her first performance “out of retirement” was in the 2010
production of The Producers as a showgirl, storm trooper, old lady
and a blind man. She has since included the roles of the merry murderess Hunyak in Chicago,
Hannah in Hannah’s Brass Rail, a play written by Ginger Knapp Ringdahl, a Hot Box Girl in
Guys & Dolls, Clairee in Steel Magnolias, ensemble in Broadway Babies and a recurring role as a
Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show. She wants to thank her husband for his support and
Debra Ginsberg for believing in her.
Maryann Warren (Helga) Originally a farm girl from Ohio, she has been
enjoying island life in Key Largo for the past 20 years and is a local
Realtor selling the Florida Keys and South Miami. This is her 3rd show
with Debra Ginsberg, participating in Chicago as “Go to Hell Kitty” with
MAC and also in The Producers, where she perfected the art of dancing
with a walker! Maryann has maintained a lifelong passion for the arts
having been in community playhouse productions in Hilton Head, SC
and Breckenridge, CO before she settled in her beloved island
community.
Kristen Baar (Frenchie) Kristen is very excited to once again be
performing with Ginsberg Productions! This fall, she had an amazing
time as a Phantom in Ginsberg Productions' Rocky Horror Show. She
is a Connecticut native who began performing at the age of three. She
is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and Irish step dancing. Kristen
graduated from the University of Florida with both her Bachelor’s and
Master’s degrees. This is her tenth year teaching, and she has taught
from kindergarten through eighth grade. Currently, she is a middle
school math and science teacher and loves it more every day. When she
is not teaching or dancing, she and her husband enjoy all that living in
the Keys has to offer. She would like to thank her family for all of their
love and support. Also, thank you to Debra and the rest of the cast for your encouragement
and all of the great times!
Briana Shore (Mitzi) born in Maryland, has wanted to be an actress
since seeing Annie, the musical, at age 6. She has sung in all-state
choirs, college and community productions of 42nd Street, The Pajama
Game, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and
performed with The Washington National Opera in Tosca and The
Magic Flute directed by Plácido Domingo. Briana has played a
Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show. She is very excited to be a part of
the cast of Cabaret and to work with Ginsberg Productions.
Trish Elliott (Kit Kat Klub / Soloist) is excited to be part of another
Ginsberg Production. She is 14 years old. Some favorite roles include:
Annie from Annie, Sandy in Grease, Ugly in Honk! Jr., Ariel in The
Little Mermaid, Lucinda in Into the Woods, performing songs from
Les Miserables, Cats, and Chicago in Ginsberg Production's Broadway
Babies. Trish recently returned from Nantucket where she completed
a Master Class in Musical Theatre performing songs from A Chorus
Line, and Assassins by Stephen Sondheim. Trish recently performed
in The Rocky Horror Show as a Phantom. She is grateful for Debra"s
awesome directing, Doug and the great cast during this show.
Brian Coutangus (Sailor / Ensemble) has starred in Crazy for You,
Tommy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Man of La
Mancha, The Producers, and Chicago.
He is from Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania and lives on Miami Beach working as an ESL Teacher, and
spends his summers’ bartending on the Delaware Seashore. In his spare
time he enjoys running, biking, tennis, swimming, relaxing on the sand - `
just about anything outdoors!

Erik Wilson (Sailor / Ensemble) Erik is ecstatic to be in this year's
performance of "Cabaret" put on by Ginsberg Productions. Erik
graduated from Coral Reef Senior High in 2011, and appeared in two
operas there: "The Merry Wives of Windsor," and "Amelia Goes to the
Ball." Quote: " What's money? A man is a success if he gets up in the
morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to
do." -Bob Dylan
Moe Saah (Max) This is Moe's second appearance in a Debra Ginsberg
Production. His acting debut was in the 2011 production of The Rocky
Horror Show, where he played a Phantom. Moe refers to that as his
virgin experience. In Cararet Moe plays the role of Max the owner of
the Kit Kat Klub. Moe would like to thank the produers for allowing
him to spread his wings and fly like a Peacock.
Claude Kershner IV (Sailor / Ensemble) owns Reef Tropical Pool & Lawn
based in Key Largo, FL. He went to Lehigh University in Pennsylvania,
worked in commercial Real Estate for CB Richard Ellis for three years out
of college and then proceeded to get his graduate degree at Oklahoma
State University. He is 29 years old and has been in a handful of plays as
an actor and as a part of the lighting crew. Claude took an acting class in
college as a senior and loves to be around warm hearted and energetic
people. He also loves spending time with his younger brother and
participating in any type of athletic activity.
Mackenzie Warren (Kit Kat Klub / Ensemble) Mackenzie, a Key Largo
Conch, has been dancing since she was three years old! She started with
On Your Toes dance studio in Tavernier and is currently a sophomore at
the New World Performing Arts high school in down-town Miami.
Trained in all disciplines of dance one of Mackenzie’s strengths is ballet,
having just finished the Nutcracker at the Dade County Auditorium.
Mackenzie is delighted to be in her first Broadway musical and would
like to thank Debra and Ginsberg Productions for this wonderful
opportunity, especially in her home town!
Alexandra Remos (Kit Kat Klub / Ensemble) Alexandra, a Miami native,
has been musically trained since the age of 4, playing piano and flute.
Since the age of 13 she has been vocally trained by Ariel Remos. She is a
sophomore at Lourdes Academy where she is a Bernadette Scholar and a
member of the Woman's Chorus.
She is excited to be participating in her first musical.

Melanie Johnston (Kit Kat Klub / Ensemble) Melanie is beyond thrilled to be
apart of Ginsberg Productions’ 2014 production of Cabaret. When not at
rehearsal she is communications student at the University of Miami and a
dance instructor. She is overjoyed to have incorporated her passions back
into her life with this show. Melanie has been singing and dancing for over
10 years and has been seen in various Coral Reef Senior High School
Productions as well as performances as a Jill Mallory Studio of Dance
Company member. She would like to thank her wonderful family for their
patience and her friends for the laughs and consistent support.

Debra Ginsberg, (Fraulein Schneider) president and founding member of
Ginsberg Productions. Although a former Wall Street Executive, she has
dedicated most her spare time to the theater. Originally from New York,
her lifetime involvement with the theatre has been a labor of love as a
performer in numerous community and professional theatrical
productions along with a dedicated career as a director and executive
producer. Directorial credits are Broadway Review, Guys and Dolls, Steel
Magnolias, The Rocky Horror Show, Chicago, Ocean Reef The Musical and The Academy at Ocean
Reef’s Broadway Review; two shows which also appeared on the Ocean Reef Cultural Center stage
in Key Largo. She directed and co-produced the Miami Stage Company’s production of Noises
Off and critically acclaimed CATS, which was a national first and triumphant community theater
undertaking. Other directorial credits include The Ocean Reef Yacht Club's version of “American
Idol” and Sacha in Concert, in which she also performed on the Ocean Reef Cultural Center Stage,
The Odd Couple, Noises Off, An Evening to Remember at the Wilton Theater in Connecticut and
several Miami productions of Who Killed The Director for which she received several awards.
Debra was also the artistic director, executive producer of Mel Brook’s Tony® Award winning hit
The Producers. In addition, her recent acting credits include: Broadway Review, Grizabella in
CATS, Fantine in Les Miserables, and Annie in Chicago, a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show,
Hot Box Girl in Guys and Dolls, Ouiser in Steel Magnolias, Mona in Chicago. Her acting, singing,
and dancing talents have also won her awards as “Best Actress” and “Best Supporting Actress” for
her roles as Miss Hannigan in Annie and Widow Corney in Oliver. She costarred in a Philip
Michael Thomas and Sandi Morais production of Sacha at the Hollywood Playhouse and steppedin as Harriet The Horrible Owl and The Mother in Sacha on Broadway in New York City at the
Riverside Theatre. Other numerous performing credits include Grizabella, Electra, and
Griddlebone in various productions of CATS throughout southern Florida, Joanne in Company at
the Riviera Theater (Miami), the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella (Actors Playhouse, Miami) as
well as many other starring roles including Hello Dolly, Candide, Cabaret, Carousel, Lost in
Yonkers, Blithe Spirit, Songs for a New World, Godspell, Some Enchanting Evening, and The Seven
Year Itch. Debra was a founding member, president and executive director for ACTA (Actors for
Charity Theatrical Alliance) in Miami; former Board Member of The Miami Children’s Theater;
founding member, chairman and artistic & executive director of The Miami Acting Company;
founding member, executive producing artistic director of The Friends of Key Largo Cultural
Center and former member of the Advisory Committee to the Florida Keys Council of the Arts.
Debra has been awarded and recognized for her philanthropic endeavors by the University of
Miami’s Scholarship Fund, Gulliver’s Cultural Arts Department and she is the recipient of a
Special Commitment award for The Children’s Home Society of Miami and has been recognized
for mentoring graduates from the University of Miami’s School of Business. Debra graduated
from Vassar College and attended the Wharton School of Business of Continuing Professional
Education.

Gerri Michelle Barreras (Choreographer) has been a dance teacher for
over twenty five years. As a former professional dancer she performed in
Mexico, Spain and toured the Southern United States and danced with the
Miami Dance Company, Ballet Etudes, and Les Jazz Ballets. Educated by
fabulous instructors from Miami, Chicago, L.A and New York, these
teachers inspired and formulated her love of dance. In 1981, Ms. Barreras
opened her own school, Dancer’s Point, which was successful in claiming
various National titles and the coveted A.C.C.A. award for Best Recital,
Best Choreography and Outstanding Soloists.
Gerri choreographed the Carnaval Miss Miami Pageant for 10 years and the Sears Solo Para Mi
show for Calle Ocho working with such great artists as Willie Chirino and the late Celia Cruz.
Since then, she has been judging and teaching master classes for various organizations both
nationally and internationally. Her former students are dancing in Broadway shows, featured in
movies, television, commercials and theme parks and many are teaching and/or developing
choreographers! Gerri has a Master’s Degree from Nova University in Interdisciplinary Arts and
is certified to teach dance in the state of Florida. Judging and teaching have led her to some
incredible places, such as Riesa, Germany as the American judge in the World Dance Show
Championships; to Sweden, where she set choreography for the musical, 360 Degrees; to France
where she had her work presented as part of the South Florida All-Stars; and to South America
where she was able to teach a variety of styles. She has choreographed the musical numbers for
versions of: Annie, Grease, The Producers, Once Upon a Mattress, The Wizard of Oz, Working
and Sweet Charity. Gerri specializes in teaching ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and musical
theatre and has been a faculty member and judge for: American Dance Awards, Dance Educators
of America, Dance Masters of America, Headliners National Dance Competitions and the North
American Dance Championships. Presently, she is the dance director at the prestigious Gulliver
Preparatory School. Teaching is her life-long passion and is so humbled to be a part of the talent
that has passed through her life. Her biggest loves are her two children, who are living the dream
of performing in NYC!

Colin Kendrew (Technical Director, Set Designer and Set Builder) Colin
started designing sets as a student in Jr High School for “Anything Goes”.
Continued designing sets for Miami Dade County Public Schools such as
Peter Pan, Midsummer Nights Dreams and You Can’t take it With You. In
addition he became Technical Director and Set Designer and Builder for
Dave and Mary Alper Jewish Community Center, building sets for Fiddler
On The Roof, Hello Dolly and Oklahoma. He became the Technical Director
for the Miami Acting Company, designing and building sets for “ATS, Company and Chorus
Line and Technical Director for The FKLCC designing and building sets for The Rocky Horror
Show and Steel Magnolias. He is excited to be the resident Technical Director for Ginsberg
Productions andis thrilled to be working on this production of Cabaret.
Gus Aguilera (Set builder / Crew) Gus has worked with Debra on a variety
of projects including: CATS, The Producers, The Rocky Horror Show, Steel
Magnolias, and now this production of Cabaret. Gus has been a Master
Carpenter for over 30 years. He started developing his skills right after high
school. In addition to set building he assists with lighting and sound
configuration and set up. During an interview about set building Gus
remarked: “It takes a long time to build them, they look really nice, they’re
gorgeous. Yet it takes no time at all to tare them down and we can save all
of it to reuse for the next show.”

Peggy Doty (Stage Manager Key Largo) is thrilled to call Debra her
friend for over 45 years and is honored to again join her in her
theatrical endeavors. She appeared on stage in the ACTA/Debra
Ginsberg directed production of Who Killed the Director but her skills
were better suited as stage manager where she served on many of
Debra’s productions including Cabaret, Blithe Spirit, The Odd Couple.
In addition, she stage-managed Sacha, the Musical and “American
Idol” at Ocean Reef as well as the Philip Michael Thomas & Sandi
Morais production of Sacha at the Hollywood Playhouse. She also
assisted in pre-production of CATS, Noises Off and the Producers. In
her youth, she appeared in community productionsof Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Wildcat,
The King and I and Once Upon a Mattress. She is from a proud theatrical family; her greatgrandfather was Martin Beck, the Broadway impresario, who was Harry Houdini’s first
business manager, discovered W. C. Fields and brought Sarah Bernhardt to New York for
her first U.S. stage appearance. Beck was a vaudeville theatre owner who founded the
Orpheum Circuit and built the famed Palace Theater in 1913. He opened the Martin Beck
Theater in 1924 which was renamed in 2003 the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in honor of the
caricaturist famous for his drawings of Broadway celebrities. Peggy’s great-grandmother,
Louise Beck received a Tony Award in 1958 for her lifetime service where she was a member
of the inaugural committee for the award named in honor of Antoinette Perry as well as coemcee at the first Tony Awards luncheon held on April 6, 1947, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel
in New York City. Born and raised in New York, Peggy graduated from College of the Holy
Cross and moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1996 where she resides with her Chihuahua mix,
Pepé. She is currently employed at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. Her favorite stage
and movie production is still The Sound of Music!
Phillip Lacret (Stage Manager Miami) was born on October 5th, 1984
in North Bergen New Jersey. He and his family moved to Miami
Florida when he was 4 years old. Phillip has always been an
entertainment freak. He has acted, written and directed various
projects, as well as being Production Assistant and Assistant Stage
Manager on other projects. In 2005, he made his stage debut with the
Miami-Dade College presentation Our Town based on the play by
Thorton Wilder. Phillip then took a break to support his pregnant
sister, Jennifer. He came back in 2006 with another MiamiDade College show, The Dining Room. In 2008, he played the lead in 2 shorts, Everyone’s
Forgiveness and Colors of Hope for an organization called Boystown. In 2008, he made his
directorial debut in the short Everything: Dancing with Jesus for which he also provided the
song Everything by Lifehouse. In 2002, he wrote his very first screenplay Superboy based on
the DC Comics and the 80’s TV show. In 2004, he wrote In the Blood dedicated to his late
grandfather. In 2011, he wrote his first TV Pilot Peter’s Story. Phillip has been Assistant on
many different projects starting in 2007 with I Love You, You’re Perfect, now Change. In
2009, Phillip reunited with Dining Room co-star Debra Ginsberg with The Producers which
Debra directed and Phillip was Assistant Stage Manager. Phillip has been working with
Debra ever since assisting her in the projects Chicago, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and
just recently, a Broadway Review. Phillip is part of Debra’s production company, Ginsberg
Productions. They are currently working on a new version of Rocky Horror in addition to
Cabaret and a new musical I don’t Care

Morgan Jonas (Stage Manager Key Largo) Morgan is a student at Drexel
University. She has previously worked with Debra on numerous show.
Some of which are CATS, Chicago, The Producers, Noises off, and The Odd
Couple. Morgan has being working back stage since she was 10 and still loves
it to this day. Hope you enjoy the show!
Terry Medina (Assistant Stage Manager) Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto
Rico. A graduate of International Fine Arts College with an Associate Degree
in Fashion Merchandizing. Terry also attended Florida International
University in Miami, and obtained a Bachelor degree in Apparel
Management. Terry has been the Risk and Operations Supervisor for the past
15 years at Gulliver Schools. She is the mother of three beautiful, daughters,
Tatiana Perez, Monica Perez, and Rebecca Perez all of whom are attending
College in Miami. Terry has always been involved in the arts and theatre
since the age of 10. Always Happy and loving life.
Tatiana Perez (Executive Assistant to the Producer / Artistic Director) Born
and raised in Miami. Tatiana graduated from Miami Palmetto High School.
She then received an A.S. degree from University of North Florida. She is
now attending Florida International University majoring in Chemistry and
Community Health.
