All materials are safe and hygienic or course, and both sides of the mattress can be slept on, which prolongs the life of the mattress. If you are unsure which to choose ask what type of mattress do you prefer to sleep on? Foam: VYSSA foam mattresses use either polyurethane foam or cold foam (high resilience foam). They are well fitting, durable and have pressure-relieving qualities that provide your growing child with good support and a favourable sleeping climate. Spring: VYSSA spring mattresses are made with either pocket springs or Bonell springs and have a protective wadding of foam and felt. The spring construction allows air to flow freely, promoting good air circulation and a favourable sleeping climate. Covers: All VYSSA covers are removable and machine-washable to create a hygienic sleeping environment for your child. . They are also well ventilated to allow for better air circulation. Some VYSSA mattresses have jersey and velour covers for a softer feeling. Latex: We use only synthetic latex in VYSSA latex mattresses, because children may be allergic to natural latex. Synthetic latex is extremely durable and provides additional pressure relief for extra comfort and a hygienic sleeping environment for your child. STEP 2: IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL NEEDS Size Are you buying a mattress for a children’s bed or an extendable bed? All VYSSA mattresses are available in both sizes. As the extendable beds “grows” with the child in three steps, the mattress comes in three pieces; just add on a part when you extend the bed. Air circulation All VYSSA children’s mattresses promote good air circulation, but some materials like egg-carton foam, spring constructions and latex provide exceptional air circulation. If this is especially important to you, you should choose a mattress with these materials. To extend the life and freshness we recommend that you regularly wash the covers and air out the mattress. Time How many years do you think your child will use the mattress? If you want to use the same mattress from the early years and well into childhood, a thicker and more durable mattress will provide better support as the child grows. Pressure relief All VYSSA mattresses provide pressure relief, but some materials, like pocket springs, cold foam and latex, provide more precise support for your child’s fast growing body.
