NCFI POLYURETHANES / NCFI Polyurethanes’ new Bio-Lux Max5 is made from
a record-breaking 53 percent bio-based content—a drastic increase in the level of
renewable content. This patented new process is a radical change for the industry,
where many flexible foams are made from only 12 to 16 percent biobased content. As
the first US flexible foam to receive the “Certified Biobased Products” label from the
USDA, Bio-Lux Max5 is the most sustainable foam available.
TALALAY GLOBAL / Latex International Holdings, Inc.
has announced that it will change its name to Talalay
Global, better reflecting its position as a worldwide leader
in premium Talalay products. The company’s new tagline
of “purely the best,” unveiled at the Winter Las Vegas
Market, further underscores Talalay Global’s commitment to manufacturing a luxury product. In the wake of
this update, the company also unveiled TalaGel, a new
gel-infused product that keeps all of the antimicrobial and
pressure-relieving properties of Talalay latex, and marries
them with the cooling benefits of gel.
37.5 / Performance materials and temperature regulation
technology have become major trends in bedding lately—
and 37.5 combines both in its unique proprietary fabric.
Featured in popular athletic ware since 2006, the company just introduced its first bedding system, under its own
brandname: Sleep 37.5. This advanced technology incorporates active mineral particles into the fabric through a
patented method, which works to transform excess heat
and moisture into a vapor, allowing the system to dry
quickly. By maintaining an optimum sleep temperature,
Sleep 37.5 eliminates the need for the body to expend
extra energy cooling itself down, allowing consumers to
enter a deeper, more comfortable period of sleep. The
technology is available in an entire sleep system, including
sheets, mattress covers, pillowcases and more—and is
currently being tested by sleep physiologists at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to verify that it
truly improves athletic performance.
