DALLAS CHILDREN’S THEATER TEAMS UP WITH AT&T PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
(DALLAS) Dallas Children’s Theater (DCT), in association with the AT&T Performing Arts Center (the
Center), proudly announces an easy new way to purchase tickets to Dallas’ premier family arts theater. By
visiting the Center’s Information Center at 2353 Flora Street, you can book your seats to any show at DCT’s
Rosewood Center for Family Arts!
DCT is committed to doing its part to enhance the cultural landscape of North Texas. By focusing exclusively
on children and teens in their formative years, DCT helps set the stage for those who will frequent cultural
institutions in the future, including all the major arts organizations that make up the Center. DCT’s founder and
Executive Artistic Director Robyn Flatt states, “The most valuable thing you can do for children is give them
experiences rich in the arts, and awaken their own individual creative genius – a spark that lasts a lifetime.” Ms.
Flatt continues, “Our friendship with the Center represents a full circle. DCT is often the first place children
and families experience a love of theater and the arts. This benefits the entire community when they grow up
with an appreciation for patronizing and supporting the arts. We are so proud of the role we play in introducing
the arts today to the patrons of tomorrow.”
DCT has successfully partnered on projects with the Center, including presenting the national tour premieres of
"The True Story of the Three Little Pigs!" and "Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters" at the Margot and Bill Winspear
Opera House.
“DCT is a beloved institution whose mission is to expose children to the live performing arts, so this is a great
fit for us,” said Doug Curtis, president and CEO of the Center. “Their audiences will someday become
audiences for the Center and other arts institutions, so we are thrilled to provide a convenient, downtown, inperson ticketing option for them at our Information Center.”
Tickets can be purchased at the Flora Street location on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
As usual, tickets are also available at www.dct.org, by calling 214-740-0051, or visiting DCT’s Rosewood
Center for Family Arts at 5938 Skillman Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On show days,
DCT’s box office opens 90 minutes prior to curtain time.
