We appreciate your creativity in artwork and designs but suggest avoiding use of “Get Well Soon,” “I love you,” “God Bless You,” or other religious preferences. Banners should simply say “Happy Birthday,” “Happy Holidays,” “Congratulations,” or “Way to Go!” Monthly Calendars: It’s easy to lose track of time while in the hospital. You can help by designing a monthly wall calendar on 11x14 poster board. A general outline is all that is needed. The kids like to fill in the month, days, and numbers. Teaching Dolls: Children can learn about surgery and other medical procedures by play acting the experience with a doll as a patient. The Child Life Department has a pattern for making these dolls. We always need these!!!!!! Phone 704-381-3257
