Covenant Cares with Coats Give a warm winter coat to those in need. Coats should be new or gently used and clean in all sizes for men, women and children. Gloves, mittens, scarves, hats, snow boots and snow pants will also be accepted. Drop boxes are available at the Harrison, Cooper, Michigan and Mackinaw Café’s. The coat drive will begin October 1 & end November 9. Items collected will benefit the Hands of Hope, United Way and Salvation Army. Covenant HealthCare is looking for recipes submitted by employees and volunteers to include in a cookbook to raise funds for Covenant Kids. We are looking for more than 500 recipes to include in the cookbook. You are welcome to submit one or more recipes - each must be on a separate form. Recipe forms are available on the S:Drive in the folder marked, “CHC Cookbook Recipe Submissions". Your name will be printed with each recipe. Here’s how to submit recipes:* Drop forms into a special box inside the Covenant HealthCare cafes beginning today.* Send them through intra-departmental mail to Carol Keinath, Nutrition Services, Harrison Campus. The deadline to submit recipes is December 15. The cookbooks are expected to be available for purchase in late spring and will be sold in all three Covenant Gift Shops.
