About Lisa Regina
Workshops & Classes
Lisa Regina, a professional Actress and Acting Coach
in NYC for over 20 years has appeared on TV / Film in
The Sopranos, Bronx Paradise, Priceless, All My
Children, and national commercial campaigns for
Delta Sky Miles, K-Mart and Macy’s.
Lisa studied at New York University in the
School of Educational Theatre, as well as the
Tisch School for the Performing Arts. As part of the
Educational Theatre Program, Lisa was involved in
teaching post-performance workshops to the young
audiences. The youth programs at NYU included,
"Looking for Shakespeare."
Lisa’s expertise is coaching
young actors on film sets. Her
professional coaching credits
include working on the set of
‘Analyze This’ with Robert
DeNiro, On this film she
coached her student in the role
of DeNiro’s son. Lisa also had
one of her young students on
the set of ‘Good Shepard’
with Matt Damon, Joe Pesci, and
Robert DeNiro. Lisa’s studentplayed Joe Pesci’s grandson.
Most recently, Lisa was featured on BRAVO’s hit
TV show ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey”
as she coached Gia, a young actress preparing for an
upcoming feature film audition with “the Rock.”
As an educator of the arts, Lisa formerly taught at the
American Academy of Dramatic Arts and also
taught independent acting workshops at the Actor's
Loft in the Village.
She created children's
workshops, produced and
wrote plays for KAPOW!
Kid Actor's Performance
Workshops in New York
City.
Lisa is committed to creating
projects from concept,
writing, directing and
producing . In 2001, she
wrote, directed and
produced an educational film,
“Kenny,” which won the Manhattan Global Film
Festival and a Humanitarian Award.
Recently, Lisa wrote, directed and produced an
educational stage performance,“A Write to Heal. The
show premiered at the Culture Project in NYC and
throughout communities in New Jersey.
