Applying to the
Holland ISC
Contact our Admissions Coordinator who will help you with your
application every step of the way. Please follow the two steps below
to secure your place at the Holland ISC:
Step 1: Complete the Holland ISC application form and attach
the following copies of your documents.
• the relevant pages of your passport
• your IELTS or TOEFL score
• your academic transcripts (originals and English translations)
• your diploma (if available)
• if you have already received a conditional offer of a place on your intended degree
programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, please include this too.

Step 2: If you meet the entry requirements for the International Foundation Year
programme, our Admissions Coordinator will arrange:
• a conditional offer of a place on your intended degree programme at
The Hague University of Applied Sciences (if you do not already hold an offer)
• the offer of a place at the Holland ISC.
The conditional offer from the university is a visa requirement for any student
following a degree preparation programme in Holland.

The International Foundation Year at the
Holland International Study Centre provides
a route to the following degrees, taught in
English, at The Hague University of Applied
Sciences. During your final year, you get the
opportunity to undertake a valuable work
placement and a graduation project. ⋅

A International Business & Management
Studies (3 years) This course is right for you
if you want to enter the business world, live
an international life, and know everything
there is to know about economics, business,
marketing, finance and management. Our
graduates have gone on to work for banks
and advertising agencies, and for the sales,
marketing or financial departments of
multinational corporations, whilst others
have gone on to set up their own businesses.
Most degree programmes consist of ‘major’ and ‘minor’
courses. Major courses are compulsory subjects that form
part of the programme. Minor courses are those you choose
yourself, and can be from your own programme, other
programmes offered by The Hague University of Applied
Sciences, or even from other universities of applied sciences.
⋅ BA International Financial Control
& Management (3 years)
Good international (business) controllers
are in demand in today’s 24/7 economy. If
you are ambitious, conscientious, a genuine
team player, you love number crunching,
and want to work in an international
environment then International Financial
Control & Management (IFMC) is just the
programme for you.
⋅ BA Process and Food Technology (3 years)
You have a natural interest in subjects like
chemistry and physics and would like to
have a career in an international
environment. We provide you with the
very best preparation for a position in the
field of process technology in the food
industry or chemical industry. You may
find yourself employed by a smaller,
socially relevant organisation like Rotie
(part of the Simadan Group) or by a
career-oriented multinational like Shell.
⋅ BEng Industrial Design Engineering
(3 years) There is great demand for people
with both specialist design knowledge and
the ability to think across borders. As a
recent graduate, you will have all the
necessary skills to cover this gap in the
market. With the ability to bridge research,
design processes and entrepreneurship,
you are employable in almost every sector.

Location Next to the main public station

Type The Student Hotel is a brand new
residence offering a range of en-suite
private rooms for individual use. Facilities
include furniture and bedding, as well as
use of a private gym, study rooms, a library,
lounges, and entertainment and games
rooms. 24-hr security, WiFi and high speed
