VLITS is an ISO certified leading prestigious engineering
institution affiliated to JNTU-K, Kakinada, located in the
serene environs of Vadlamudi on the Guntur - Tenali
Highway, about 14 km from Guntur and 11 km from Tenali.
The institution is a virtual heaven of rural quiet and idyllic
beauty. The splendid avenue, imposing buildings and
sprawling play grounds and the verdure in and around
the campus make it one of the most preferred choices for
the aspirants of Engineering studies. Since its inception
in 2007, the college has been striving to promote high
standards in technical education to aid in the career building of the many students who step into its portals.
The college offers 6 Under Graduate Programmes in Civil
Engineering, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and Mechanical
Engineering as well as Post Graduate Programmes in
CSE, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics and
Electrical Drives, Thermal Science and Energy Systems
and MCA. Students received the Gold Medals from JNTUK,
Kakinada for their outstanding performance in Academics,
Entrepreneurship and Sports. The institution's impressive
academic credentials stand as a testimony to its
commitment to offer quality education. In the very first year
of its functioning, it secured a wholesome 93% result,
establishing new records in engineering studies. The
following year it out shone its own record by securing
94%. Since then there has been no looking back, with
steady progress from year by year. The campus is Wi-Fi
enabled.
About Electrical & Computing
Engineering Deparments
Computing, Control and Communications are the soul
and psyche of many engineering branches. Electrical and
Computing departments are instrumental in bringing the
world to where it is today. This explains reason why these
are most coveted of all engineering disciplines. The
departments of CSE, IT, ECE & EEE are industrial and
research oriented branches associated with transforming
human computer interaction in and around the world. The
Faculty, UG & PG students are active in publishing
research papers in various IEEE Journals & Trans. and
also SCOPUS indexed Journals. The departments also
provide state-of-the-art computing facilities to the
students, besides students' chapters like ISTE, IE (I) and
CSI. Students are securing good ranks in GATE. Each
year 75% of eligible students are being placed in various
MNCs like TCS, Infosys, GE, etc.
About Conference
This DST sponsored National Conference focuses on
the latest research developments and innovations in
the Computing, Control and Communication Systems in
both theoretical and practical aspects. It aims to bring
together academicians, research scholars, students and
industrialists to exchange and share their experiences
about current trends in Computer Science and
Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and
Communication Engineering and Electrical and
Electronics Engineering.
Conference Highlights
 Peer reviewed selected conference papers will be

Prizes will be given to the best three research papers.

Key Note Speakers Profile
Dr. Srikanta Pal, Professor, Department of Electrical
Engineering,School of Engineering, Shiv Nadar
University, received his B.Tech from NITW, M.Tech from
JU; Ph.D and PDF from Oxford Univesity, UK. He is
renowned Indian Scientist with his filed patent -"Super
compact planar micro strip antenna for ultra wide band
applications". Besides this he was conferred ‘Honorary
Research Fellow’ by the University of Birmingham, for
2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-14 on his significant contribution
to radio astronomy.
Dr. D. K. Mohanta, Professor, EEE, is specialized in
Power Components & Systems with 52 SCOPUS/SCI
papers in reputed international journals and many
papers in National and International Conferences. He
has applied for two patents. He is the Editorial Board
Member of Taylor & Francis Publications and a reviewer
for IEEE Trans. & Elsevier international journals.
Dr. R. V. S. Satyanarayana, Professor, S. V. University, is
prominent in Communication and Bio-Medical
Engineering and received Education Excellence award
from AIBCF, New Delhi and also the recipient of Janma
Bhoomi medal by Govt. of A.P.
Dr. Avireni Srinivasulu, SMIEEE, SMIACSIT, LMISTE,
MIE(I), Professor, ECE, VFSTR, received B.Tech (ECE)
from SVU, M.E (Electronics Engg.) from Gulbarga
University, Gulbarga; M.S (Software Systems) from
BITS, Pilani and Ph.D. (VLSI Design) from BIT, Mesra,
Ranchi. He worked in Defence University, Ethiopia; KIST
University, Rwanda; BIT, Mesra, Ranchi and at present
working as Dean (R&D) and Professor of ECE, VFSTR
University, Vadlamudi, Guntur Dist., India. He has 25 years
of teaching and 15 years of research experience in the
department of ECE and published over 50 articles in
international j ournals and conferences. His main
research areas are microelectronics, VLSI design and
analog ASIC.
