The new year brings some exciting changes at Creative Arts
Workshop, the opportunity to begin a new phase in the
organization’s life. After twenty-seven years as Executive Director,
I will be retiring at the end of December. I am honored to have
served in this capacity for half of CAW’s 54 years, and I look
forward to continuing to support the arts in new ways.
The recently implemented facility fee has helped us cover some
of the utilities and building maintenance costs. This has proved to
be crucial in our ability to provide quality programming.
Our new online registration process has allowed students to
directly access the registration system and be able to view current
information about class availability, materials lists, waiting list
details, and class schedules.
While we will continue to take registrations in person and through
the mail, we urge you to register online, so that we make full use
of the timesaving benefits of the new system.
Thank you so much for your continued support and involvement
with Creative Arts Workshop.

drawing and painting
The Drawing and Painting faculty are available for consultation concerning classes
and development of artistic goals. Students should bring any appropriate art materials to the first class to discuss them with the instructor. Some courses require the use
of pigments and solvents that are not recommended for use during pregnancy or by
individuals with health problems; discuss the advisability of taking an art class with your
doctor. Please contact the Workshop if you have questions regarding a certain course.
