Meanwhile, Brody continues her search for the perfect place to call home in New Orleans. Some guys are unloading the catch off their boat. Jealous Macey tells one of the guys to keep his eyes off his girl Amy. He throws him against one of the shrimp cages and knocks it over. His buddy points and says ”leg.” Sure enough, there’s a dismembered limb. Brody complains to her boss about her loud neighborhood. Chris calls her a lightweight and Dwayne agrees. Chris says the leg is likely Navy. Loretta says the DNA will take time and no identifying marks but the victim is likely African American. Dwayne cracks some jokes about whether it might be a mutant starfish. Loretta says likely a single blade. Dwayne tells Chris to take Brody and get with the Coast Guard to find the rest of the guy. Captain Lee is waiting for Dwayne at the office. He tells him Calvin Parks, his mentee, is AWOL. He asks if he’s heard from him. Dwayne hasn’t but says he’s a good guy. The Captain says maybe he’s just found a nice girl and shacked up and asks him to give a call if hears from him. He takes off. Dwayne video calls Loretta and Sebastian rambles on to him. Dwayne interrupts and asks if he could be 23, 6’3” about 220 pounds. Sebastian says that’s likely and Dwayne says he’ll send a name and photo. He sends over a photo of him and Calvin. Dwayne waits while a trumpeter finishes his set — it’s Calvin’s dad. He asks if he’s heard from his son and he says it’s been a couple of weeks. Dwayne tells him something bad may have happened to him but he’s not sure. He gets called for another set. Papa says he loves two things — Calvin and jazz. He head back on stage but is noticeably sad. He plays a somber tune. Dwayne gets a text telling him the body is a positive ID for Calvin. Dwayne drinks his coffee when Brody and Chris come in. He offers them breakfast and sausage and tells them to fill him in on the investigation. They searched his rack and found his laptop but nothing else. Dwayne says he’ll check on forensics. 3 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Chris asks for a moment and tells Dwayne he can take the morgue since Dwayne is personally involved. He refuses. Brody listens in. Dwayne says we face what we have to face and tells him to take Brody and go. Chris reminds him he promised breakfast but says they’ll take it to go. Thy go talk to a civilian contractor that oversaw Calvin at the pier. He yells at a couple of slackers then comes back to them and says he heard talk about Calvin hanging with some bangers. Chris explains that means gang members and Brody tells him duh. Loretta tells Dwayne they found the body wrapped in plastic in a shallow grave. She says the leg was taken while he was still alive. His knuckles show signs of defensive wounds and she says he got some good licks in. She runs a simulation Sebastian set up. She says he likely had some sort of ax that took the limb and caused him to bleed out. They found a tooth in his clothing — not Calvin’s — from the right side of the mouth. They’re waiting on DNA. She shows him a fresh gang tat on Calvin’s arm — Delta crew. Chris says that he’s seen gangs make former members recommit then kill them. Chris explains the local gangs to Brody and she sasses him and plays dumb. Chris says he knows Delta Crew and Dwayne takes the 113. Brody tells Dwayne about an apartment she’s considering and he gives her the low-down on each neighborhood. He tells her where you live says everything. He tells her Chris lives in the Quarter and he lives in the lower Garden. She says it looks like he’s living in the office. She asks where she can live and get a full night’s sleep. A Delta Crew guy tells Chris that he hasn’t seen Calvin since he joined the Navy. The guy says the 113s are the prime suspects and tells Chris to go. Chris says he’ll leave when he’s ready. The guy calls over the bartender and asks for a diet orange. Dwayne and Brody ask the 113s why Calvin might be dead. The head guy tries to flirt with Brody then says Delta Crew has been known to kill their own. Dwayne asks to see his teeth and he smiles and shows that he has them all. Then an SUV rolls up for a drive by. It’s Naomi the bartender and the Delta Crew guy. He drives, she shoots and Dwayne and Brody barely make it behind a car and avoid being shot. Dwayne and Chris watch a news story about the prior days’ drive-by gang shooting. Chris says each gang is blaming the other and Dwayne wonders who’s setting the other up. Councilman Hamilton shows up and says he heard he stirred the pot that caused the gang war to erupt. He asks if NCIS wants to join the task force. Dwayne says he’ll help any way he can. Hamilton asks for names but Dwayne says he has no proof yet they were involved in Calvin’s murder. Hamilton says appearances matter and Dwayne says justice matter. He leaves. Dwayne tells Chris to never go into politics. Chris wonders about why he thinks gangs weren’t involved. Dwayne says if the 113 did it, they would have been expecting retaliation and weren’t and if the Deltas did it, wouldn’t have retaliated. Dwayne goes to the morgue and asks to see Calvin’s body. Loretta asks how he met Calvin. He says he met him when he tried to rob his house. He says he saw something in him and helped him and it kills him now to think he went back to that world. Loretta says Calvin was trying to change. Loretta says she’ll leave him with Calvin and goes but tells him where his body is stored. Brody comes to see Chris and he tells her what’s on the laptop. He says there was nothing much on gang involvement but there was an email sent to himself with a bunch of numbers. Brody says she recognizes one of the numbers. She can’t remember the number. Chris tells her she’s an odd bird. Sebastian comes down to see Loretta. He looks at a rainstorm she’s got playing on her screen and then she asks what can make a tattoo disappear. She says Calvin’s tattoo is disappearing. She says she remembers a case where a tattoo fading determined cause of death. She says Dr Mallard (Duckie) was the coroner. She calls him. Dwayne gets a call and heads to see Papa. He says Walter told him he wasn’t going to play. He says he took his trumpet apart to clean but just couldn’t put it back together. He says it’s just in pieces. He asks if he’s found who killed Calvin. Dwayne says he will. Papa says if Calvin went back to the gang, it’s his fault. He tells him he just can’t play and says it doesn’t feel like he ever will without knowing what happened. Dwayne tells him to come take a walk with him. Papa says he has nothing more to say. Dwayne calls his daughter and she tells him she’s in class. He says he just wanted to hear her voice. Chris asks Brody why she doesn’t just let him help her find a place. She says she likes to keep her work and personal life separate. He says that’s now how it works around here. He points out items on a menu. She says pineapple and then repeats the number. She says 3493 is the NIIN for a pineapple. She says Calvin worked at the wharf and it was pallets of pineapples. 4 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide The big numbers must have been weights. That tells them what to start looking for. They order dessert. Duckie and Loretta are on a video call reminiscing. Dwayne steps into the call and Loretta tells him about the tattoo that’s fading. Duckie says the tattoo was applied just a few hours prior to death and that’s why it’s not sticking. Duckie says in this case it was applied after death and it wouldn’t hold because the body was dead and the tattoo couldn’t take. Dwayne tells them good work. Dwayne wakes and wanders into the office to find Brodyand Chris working. He asks if they worked all night and they tell him that he snores — loud. He says he doesn’t. They tell him to take a look. They tell him they think the murder had to do with his job. The numbers are all NIIN for items at the docks — coffee, pineapples and bananas. They all came from the same ship from Guatemala and the weight was different from when it hit the docks versus when it was loaded on the Navy ship. They tell Dwayne he could have been killed because he found out about it or was in on it. There’s a news story on about Hamilton hosting a news conference about the gang violence and how he’s going to be a law and order candidate in the upcoming Mayoral race. Sebastian has something for them to see. Dwayne goes to see Hamilton and tells him to stop grandstanding. Hamilton asks why Dwayne and he can’t get along. Dwayne says he has no issue arresting people for things they’ve actually done and no cameras. Hamilton asks why he cares about a loser gang banger. Dwayne gets angry. Sebastian tells Chris and Brody that tattoo inks aren’t regulated and there are unique mixes that almost operate like fingerprints. He says he narrowed it to a shop on Magazine Street. He asks them to take him along to get him out of the lab so he can see something alive. They take him along and Sebastian wonders what future civilizations will think about our ink fetishes. Chris reveals he has an Alabama tattoo and Sebastian says he’d like a Lord of the Rings one. Brody refuses to share. Chris flashes his ID and then they ask the tattoo artist about Calvin. Sebastian says the ink belongs to him. The guy says a guy gave him $500 for a needle and a vial of ink. He has no name and Chris says he needs them to give his description to a sketch artist. The guy says he went to the Rhode Island School of Design and offers a sketch. It matches Harold Werner — a guy from the wharfs. They head to Werner’s trailer and tell him to open up. They bust in and find blood leaking and him shoved in a compartment. He’s dead. Chris says they know Harold was in on it and didn’t kill and stuff himself in the closet and he had a full set of teeth so he didn’t kill Calvin. They head back to the wharfs. They talk to the boss and he says that Harold had been flashing some cash in the last few months. They notice that the guy seems to be too quick to offer to head to the office to check files. He turns the corner and takes off and they all give chase. Dwayne catches him and punches him in his sore mouth. Chris shows them the mother lode of heroin they found from the key in his office. They also found the murder weapon that killed Calvin. They take the guy to interrogation. Dwayne asks if his toothache is feeling better. He says they know he killed Calvin because he caught him smuggling and then put the gang tattoo on him to throw them off. Dwayne says he knows he’s only been in New Orleans for two years and couldn’t have known about Calvin’s gang past. They ask who told him. He doesn’t answer and Brody draws a target on his hand in permanent marker. She says that will let the gang guys in prison know he was the one that caused the drive by shooting. He says if he tells what he knows, the gangs will be the least of his worries. Dwayne heads to see Hamilton and confronts him about having the ports in his district and knowing enough about Calvin to tell his guy to put a tattoo on him to cover it up then start a gang war. Hamilton asks if he can prove it and Dwayne says not yet. Brody says she’s buying the first round because she found a great new guest house. She says Chris helped her find it — she doesn’t know her new landlord is Loretta. She says she won’t tell Brody until she has to raise the rent. Papa comes out and Dwayne goes over and tells him that he should be awfully proud of Calvin. He asks Dwayne to sit in on the first number. Dwayne plays piano as Papa trumpets for all he’s worth. 5 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide 6 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Carrier Season 1 Episode Number: 2 Season Episode: 2 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday September 30, 2014 Gary Glasberg James Whitmore Jr. Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Michael Weatherly (NCIS Special Agent Tony DiNozzo), Rocky Carroll (NCIS Director Leon Vance), Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto), Meredith Eaton-Gilden (Carol Wilson), Erika Alexander (Navy Commander Louanne Bates), Annika Marks (Lara Harding), James Eckhouse (Dr. Michael Hufcutt), Nicholas James (Navy Lieutenant Lewis Collier), Nicole Barre (Doctor Melora Haley), Dacia Fernandez (Katie the Bartender), Andre De’Sean Shanks (Linus Warren), Jimmy Gonzales (Lieutenant Lewis Lang), Lance Tafelski (Dealer), Ross Britz (Ensign Diggs) A Navy lieutenant on liberty dies from the bubonic plague. Special agent DiNozzo is sent from Washington, D.C., to help the New Orleans team locate all additional sailors on liberty, prevent a potential outbreak and determine the source of the highly infectious disease. A navy man on leave was relishing his time off at one of the many parties going on in New Orleans when suddenly he began feeling sick right in the middle of it. So, assuming whatever he had wasn’t that bad, he just thought he needed some air and yet after he got some he still wasn’t feeling better. His symptoms unfortunately grew so bad he accidentally stumbled in front of a taxi and was hit head on. Navy Lieutenant Lewis Collier died that night and according to initial findings from Loretta — his death was deemed suspicious. As matter of fact it’s the only red flag about him. He was literally a boys’ scout his entire life. Straight A’s all through college and not one infraction against him both before and after joining the Navy. Even the party he stumbled out of wasn’t his typical scene. He only went there as a favor to his friends. And so his fianc´ee asked Pride to personally find out what really happened to Lewis. Pride felt so bad for her he actually went down to the ME’s office in order to personally oversee the rush on the autopsy and luckily he never got the chance to do so. He got caught up in talking to Sebastian and by time the alarm went up — he was a go distance away from the contamination site. Loretta on the other hand needed to be cleared before she could Lewis’s body. Lewis was neither drunk or on drugs the night he died. It seems his erratic behavior came about after he was exposed to the bubonic plague in possibly the worst case Loretta had seen in years. Now everyone that was on the ship with Lewis has to be tested to see if they were also exposed. They don’t know when or where ground zero happened so it’s in the public best interest to treat everyone they know was around Lewis. 7 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide [11:04:56 PM] Kristine Francis: Sounds easy but most of the crew members that were with Lewis are on leave as well so they’re not all in one place to just round up. So to catch one navy man they had to break up a card game and fight a hillbilly from the bayou. Then there was the hard part. NCIS needed to question members still on the ship and that meant Pride has to risk exposure in order to climb aboard. Although he wasn’t the only one putting himself at risk. Agent DiNozzo joined him. He’s taken to calling himself the plague whisperer and together they found a dead serviceman onboard. The man had claimed he needed rest and had died without anyone noticing. Yet it’s what else that was in his room that interested the agents. The guys found a rat so of course they assumed it was the ugly little beast’s fault. But they were wrong. The rat wasn’t the start of the plague at least not this time. The bacteria found inside of both victims came from a pure strain. Something they would normally see if the plague had been manufactured in lab. And what do you know a lab recently reported a break in. So this outbreak wasn’t an accident. It was an act of terrorism. However the terrorist behind it didn’t necessarily want to want to hurt Americans. The guys simply wanted to make a quick buck. Pride had found out that the doctor that has been helping them also joined the ship while it was out in the ocean. Hence there was a reason he was never on any official logs. That doctor has been going through the motions of bankruptcy and was about to lose everything he had in his name. And this included his pharmaceutical company that was miraculously began working on a cure prior to the outbreak. Though the doctor didn’t want to stop there. The team found him traveling to a convention where he would have gone on to infect a group of doctors from all around the world. When they caught him — all he could say was that he made a mistake. As if that could everything better again. 8 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Breaking Brig Season 1 Episode Number: 3 Season Episode: 3 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday October 7, 2014 Laurie Arent Tony Wharmby Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Mark Harmon (NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Rocky Carroll (NCIS Director Leon Vance), Felisha Terrell (Navy Lieutenant Adele ’Addie’ Watkins), Joe Massingill (Navy Seaman Recruit Levon Dalton), Evan Gamble (Navy Lieutenant Ted Nash), Charlene Amoia (Carly Dawson), Cliff M. She says an armored bus with detainees crossed the double yellow, rolled once and landed here. They have three dead, three missing and are waiting on names from the prison. The prisoners carjacked these girls after the bus almost ran the women off the road. Dwayne tells them to get statements and Chris goes to talk to the girls. Loretta tells them how the guards were killed and Dwayne says the escapees are likely armed. Addie hands over the prison manifest. Dwayne says Ted Nash, Lavon Dalton and Matt S O’Feeney are their three guys. Brody asks why he’s so interested in the last name. He says it’s an anagram for enemy of state. He’s on a call with Gibbs and his boss. He’s really Dmitry Babokov, a drug dealer, arms dealer and a ton of other bad stuff. He was on the USS Birmingham for transport to New Orleans then a bus to Charleston for sentencing. Vance says Babokov has intel they need and Gibbs says the message is to bring him in alive. Dwayne fills in the team including Addie and says Gibbs is coordinating. Addie tells them about Dimitry — concierge to the scum of the earth. Weapons, drugs, information and people including the country’s biggest enemies. Lavon Dalton was in the brig for striking a CO. Ted Nash was a naval architect in a shipyard but then took liberty, had a bar fight and landed in the brig. Chris wonders why Nash ran since he wasn’t 9 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide facing a big punishment. Dwayne sends Chris and Brody off to check on the first two and Addie on Nash. They head to the ship and the warden shows them the cells and says Babokov was in interrogation every day and then sent back to his cell. Brody asks if he could have talked to other prisoners and she says no. He climbs under the guy’s bunk and they find a link to Dalton where they could have talked to plot escape. Dwayne comes to the morgue and Loretta says the driver and guard were shot point back with the guard’s M11. The other prisoner was strangled. The only one strong enough to do this was Dalton. Sebastian says he’ll know more once he creates the virtual crash representation. Brody talks to Nash’s fiancee and she says they broke it off last month. She says they took a crazy trip to Europe when they were first dating and shows her some snaps. She says after they got back, things fell apart. She says he had major trust issues and she thinks it came from being an Arm brat. Brody says to call if she hears from him and the woman agrees. Sebastian welcomes the four investigators to show them the crash reconstruction. He plays the video. It’s driving North, goes into the other lane — he has the girls in the other car in bikinis. Sebastian shows them Dalton strangling the other prisoner to lure the guard in who was ambushed by Babokov. Dwayne gets a call and says they got the convertible on a BOLO in Pearl River. They thank Sebastian and head out. They pull up to find the convertible on the side of the road. Addie says they killed a trooper and a farm hand heard gunshots. They creep up on a farm house and Dwayne calls out NCIS. They rush in and look around. They see prison garb on the ground. Then they hear a thump. Dwayne heads towards the noise. Chris shines a light and they open a door. They see a little kid crying in a closet. Dwayne kneels and tells the boy it’s all right and tells the others to stand down. He tells him he’s safe and takes the boy in his arms. The child cries and cries. They sit on the porch with the boy — Remy — and ask how he’s doing. Dwayne says his mom is on the way. Remy says he heard the shots and then voices so he hid. He says he heard voices and one sounded funny. Dwayne asks if he can remember what he heard and says he knows it’s hard to talk about scary stuff. He says once you talk about, you feel better. Remy says they were talking about a grave. He asks if he’s sure and he says they were wondering how long it would take to make it. Dwayne tells him the men will never hurt him and says what he told him will make sure they can’t hurt anyone else ever again. He slips Remy a Navy medallion and says he’s one of them now. His mom shows up and says she was worried sick. Brody says they can’t find a grave — she wonders if he heard a foreign word. He tells her to check Babokov’s known languages. Addie says time of death of the trooper puts them about four miles away. Chris says one of the guys is shot and Dwayne says that should slow them. They figure out how to tighten the circle. Dalton’s sister got a text from the trooper’s phone saying he was on his way. They decide the three are headed to Alabama. Sebastian stops by and tells Loretta he’s headed out for a drink with a girl and it has a statistical probability of expanding to a real date. Loretta says the dead prisoner has large intestine damage but no priors of stomach issues. She says the trooper had the same symptoms. She asks how that can happen. She encourages Sebastian to ditch his maybe date and play hard to get. He stays to help. Chris sticks his head out the window and asks the others if they smell it as they cross the border into Alabama. Brody says he’s got a Sweet Home Alabama romanticism and Chris says she moves too much to develop an appreciation for anywhere. Dwayne says home is people not a place. They get another text saying Dalton’s sister is headed to a local hospital. We see Dalton looking around as he walks up to the ER. He comes in and looks around then Brody and the others surround him. He tries to run but they have him. Chris tells him welcome home. Dwayne asks where Babokov is and Dalton asks who the hell that is. Brody has Dalton in interrogation. She says they were in adjoining cells and knows they talked. He says he was just a voice with an accent and says he didn’t plan the escape. He says he was sleeping and woke up when the bus went off the road. He says he knows he’s going away for a long time. He says he has no incentive to tell her about it even if he knows anything. Abbie finds Chris running language programs trying to figure out what Grave might mean. She’s shoving chips in her mouth and he asks if she worries about cholesterol. She says life is too short and she doesn’t worry about anything. Dwayne says Dalton’s mom is in the hospital with stage four cancer. The facial recognition software picks up Babokov at a train depot. 10 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Abbie points out a symbol the guy has drawn on his arm. She says it’s a Marryat — a signal to anyone that it’s danger or distress. Dwayne says he’s got Nash along as a human shield. Chris comes to interrogation to talk to Dalton. He says he’s Bama born and raised too. He says he knows his mama is real sick. He asks how long she has and Dalton says the doctors says she was supposed to be gone a month ago. Chris says she would appreciate the peace of mind knowing he’s okay before she goes. Dalton is hooked and asks what they want to know. Chris tells Dwayne that Dalton doesn’t know about the human shield thing but bragged about cutting a deal to get out of jail. They pull his interrogation notes and see that they are heavily redacted. Dwayne says to text him and says he’s going to find out why they’re being kept in the dark. Dwayne heads out to the Birmingham and Gibbs is there. They embrace and smile at each other. Dwayne says he needs to know what was redacted. Gibbs says he got it declassified and hands him a paper copy. He tells him to read it and burn it then heads out. Sebastian watches a Kung Fu movie and says this is Dim Mak warfare — pressure points are used to cause damage and can damage the large intestine. It was used for smaller combatants to take down larger opponents. Sebastian says Dim Mak isn’t a skill Babokov has but Brody says Nash could know this skill since he was raised in Asia. They wonder how Nash and Babokov were connected. Dwayne comes in and says the big secret was a leak that gave Babokov information to sell. Looks like he was going to turn Nash over and Nash got himself into the brig before his cover was blown. Dwayne gets a text that the duo just got off the train in Mississippi. We see them tramping through the woods. Nash asks again if he told them his name. Babokov says he never told them who. Nash seems satisfied and puts a bullet in his Russian buddy. The dogs sniff out his body a little later. Dwayne checks his pulse and says he’s dead. Now they’re down to just one prisoner. Brody wonders why Nash waited so long to kill Babokov and she thinks he wanted info on him. She also says Nash may know Cantonese and they check the language program for grave. Then Chris gets an inspired thought and asks where ships go to die. There is a ship graveyard. Vance says they have to get Nash since he’s the only source of info about the leak. He tells Dwayne to capture him alive and bring him in before he can escape to international waters. They speed to the ship graveyard. A uni says they cut off all other paths and this is the only way to get there. Brody spots him. He takes off and they give chase. They are in an old warehouse. Nash keep scrambling and Chris says it’s on like Donkey Kong. He creeps around and then Nash jumps him and busts out his super karate ninja skills. He knocks him down good then takes off. Chris calls out to the other two. Nash grabs Brody in a choke hold. Dwayne has a gun on him and Nash says he can have her dead before he can get to him. Dwayne tells him to let her go and Dwayne puts one in his head when the guy refuses to let her go. Brody is in shock but tells her boss she’s all right. Later Vance chews him for not following orders. He says there will be fallout. He says the CIA and SECNAV want an investigation. Dwayne says if it’s a choice between a traitor and one of his own, he’ll take the shot every time. He tells Vance he can have his badge if he wants it. Abbie is there. Chris asks why they never dated and she says they would have broken up and it would have made work uncomfortable. He says they have something to look forward to. She heads out and they take Dalton to see his dying mother. He sits at her bedside and kisses her head. She wakes and he tells his mama that he’s by her side. She smiles. He holds her hand and Chris and Brody give them some privacy to reconnect. Outside, Chris tells Brody they should go shoot pool and have a beer. She says she had something else in mind. Dwayne calls Linda and leaves a message asking if she remembers their first house with the leaky fridge. He says he’s willing to go see a therapist if she just names the time and place. He says he doesn’t want any more time to slip by and asks her to call him. He hears voices and goes down. Brody and Chris are making a boil. He asks what they’re doing and Chris says it’s Brody’s idea. She says she’s making him a shrimp boil for saving his butt today. Chris coaches her on the recipe and she says she got a recipe online. They argue over how to spice it and Dwayne hands out beers and says to call a truce for the evening. 11 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide 12 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide The Recruits Season 1 Episode Number: 4 Season Episode: 4 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday October 14, 2014 Sam Humphrey Oz Scott Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Daryl ”Chill” Mitchell (NCIS Special Agent Patton Plame), Shanley Caswell (Laurel Pride), Vanessa Marano (Natalie Lane), Dora Madison Burge (Tilda), Gino Anthony Pesi (Max Wolf), Alexander DiPersia (Vlad Stahl), Hunter Burke (Officer Mike Banton), Martin Bradford (Ross P.), Terence Rosemore (Master Chief Erik T. Loretta says stippling on the wound indicates it was up close and personal. Natalie tells them she met TJ at the party and they were drinking then went up to her room. She says she passed out and woke up to him dead. She says she saw nothing. Brody checks her for gun shot residue. Dwayne asks her friend Tilda if she saw anything but she says she was really out of it. Dwayne tells them to stay put in case they have questions. Tilda says it’s gross that he was bleeding out on her Zini — a designer rug. Natalie is negative for GSR but Brody says she’s still a suspect. But Chris comes up with a bobby pin and says the ancient buildings means the locks are easy to pick and he demonstrates with the pin. Dwayne says that anyone at the party — about 200 people — could be the suspect. Brody says she snuck in the side doors to college parties. Dwayne spots dirt on the floor and finds a secret door. Dwayne tells Chris to dust it for prints and takes Brody with him to search 13 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide the tunnel. She’s surprised that there are secret tunnels. He says they were used for trysts back in the day. They find a likely egress — a ladder that puts you out in the middle of NO. Brody says that means they now have a million more suspects. Neither is happy about this new development. Chris and Brody head to the lab to talk to Sebastian and Loretta. Sebastian stitches up Loretta’s finger — she cut it on the bullet. It was a special kind of bullet — called a black talon — it has spikes that open up on impact making the injury worse. She says ER docs have been trying to get them banned for years. Sebastian rants about conspiracy theories then they move on to the body. They think the killer had an improvised silencer and showed signs of struggle about five hours before his death. He died at about nine and showed up to the party about 730. Dwayne comes in with beignets and asks what they know. Chris is running prints from the door through AFIS. She teases him and he tells her he was magna cum laude and didn’t even have to go to class. Brody says Blake was a Navy SEAL whose missions were classified so his background is as well. Natalie is from Seattle and is the only one anyone saw him with. Chris wonders if Natalie shot him when he tried to take advantage. Brody says her contact at SOCOM said Blake’s team had an issue in Somalia. Dwayne says another SEAL would be well equipped to sneak in undetected and kill Blake with a black talon bullet. Dwayne says he’s going to talk to the SEAL commander and Chris reminds him they don’t like NCIS too much. He talks to his training leader and the man says Blake’s death is a blow to the team. He says Blake had no other family — his parents died on 9/11. He also says there was no reason for Blake to be at the party — says he was good at setting an example. Dwayne asks him to be read into the Somalia issues but the guy says no SEAL did this. He tells him to talk to Max Wolf. Dwayne says the guy is a mercenary that worked with them that Blake reported for stealing jewelry from a terrorist causing him to lose his job. Laurel comes in and tastes her dad cooking and he complains that she has no taste buds inherited from her. She tells him she has to move her piano out of the dorm and he says it’s been in the family for years. She says she needs to send it back to him and asks to send it to his office. He says this is where he works and she tells him she knows it’s where he lives for now as well. Brody and Chris come into a bar looking for Wolf. Chris says it’s a mercenary hang out and he got a tip that Wolf is selling para-military gear on the side. The bartender calls out to Chris — calls him Chrissy — and gives him a big hug. They went to school at Bama — she was a cheerleader and he was the team mascot — Big Al, an elephant. Brody says she’s shocked at his GPA and the mascot thing. Chris shows Heather photos of Blake and Wolf and she confirms they were there lats night and argued. Chris approaches Wolf who takes off while his buddies beat up on Chris. Brody gives Chase and she and Wolf grapple but she finally takes him down. Wolf asks if she’s some kind of superhero and Chris comes out and says he should see her when she’s angry. Wolf insists the Cuban Kush they caught him with was medicinal but Brody asks why he ran. He flirts with her and offers her a job at Shade Corp — she says she’s more into legitimate operations. She tosses down a photo of Blake dead and he tells her to go to hell and he didn’t kill him. He says they fought because he’s a hypocrite that’s dating a prostitute. He says he and Blake fought because he called his GF a whore — that’s Natalie. Wolf says there are two words to describe her: hook er. Brody holds up Natalie’s photo to the glass for Dwayne to see and says — she lied. They discuss if Wolf told the truth and Natalie is, in fact, a college student, even if she’s a prostitute, that’s not motive but Chris comes in and says Wolf had an alibi. Chris pulled Natalie’s juvie record and saw she was charged with attempted murder of her abusive stepfather. They try to find Natalie but she skipped classes — Chris goes to call a contact that knows pros. Dwayne and Brody head to campus and discuss that the evidence against Natalie is all circumstantial but still compelling. Dwayne says once your kids go off to college, you lose control and it’s scary to think one could go as dark as turning tricks and murdering people. Chris comes into a bar and finds Ross P. He says he heard he was selling illegal firearms to kids and they struggle and he hauls him into the back where they get chummy — the guy is his CI. He asks Ross if he’s seen Natalie and he says white girls all look alike to him. Chris threatens him and then he admits he’s seen her. Chris says she may have killed a SEAL. Ross calls her a bad little white girl and promises to ask around. Tilda tells Dwayne that Natalie stayed with her last night but was gone this morning. She thinks Natalie went to class and tells him after class, she works tutoring. She says it’s a good 14 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide way to make money because college is expensive. He asks Tilda if she’s okay and she says she’s just worried about Natalie. She tells Dwayne she need to go to class. He shoots some photos of some stuff in her room on the sly, then goes. Brody talks to Officer Mike who tries to flirt and ask her out. He shows Brody the photos and she IDs them all as costly goods. Dwayne says Natalie may not have been the only pro. Patton explains to Dwayne that the website the girls are using looks educational but then once you dig in, it turns out TutorZone is definitely a hooker portal. Laurel and Brody come in and Laurel asks who he is and Chris says he’s a hacker no matter what his official title is. Laurel says that’s dope and her dad looks at her. She says that’s a good thing and he says he knows what it means. Laurel says sex is big business in college and says she knows people that do phone sex, web cams and then Dwayne sends her out of the room. Brody says Tilda, Natalie’s friend, is an econ major who was busted last year in New York. Laurel says she came to talk to him about the piano. She insists she wants to bring it there and he says a piano there doesn’t belong in an NCIS office and he says it’s just one more thing he’ll have to move back home but then Brody comes in. She says Patton made an appointment to ”study” with Natalie tonight at the Roosevelt hotel. Brody and Dwayne sit outside in the car and she asks about the piano. He says it was his grandmother’s and is an upright Hamilton. Brody tells him it can be hard to be stuck in between and says she went through this with her own parents. Chris complains that it’s taking so long and Brody asks if he has a date with Heather. She tells Dwayne he was Big Ed, the walrus but Chris says it was Big Al, the elephant. Natalie gets out of her taxi at the hotel and they get out to approach her but then a car speeds toward her and Dwayne calls to her and knocks her out of the way just before she’s mowed down. She’s terrified and tells him — they’re going to kill me. Brody says they have a BOLO out on the SUV but says that with no plate, a hit isn’t likely. Dwayne’s talking with Natalie while the other two head over to see what Sebastian has for them. Natalie tells Dwayne her dad died in the service and her mom married a psychotic alcoholic. She then talks about Blake, she calls him TJ, and says he wasn’t a john. She says she was studying in a park when he walked by in uniform and he reminder her of her dad because he was just a good guy. He asks why she didn’t tell them that before and she says no one knew. She says girls at her job are warned not to get serious with guys. She says he wanted her to quit. She says she bailed on a call girl appointment and got a threatening text after she did telling her not to pull that again. Dwayne asks if she was supposed to be working the night Blake was killed. She says she didn’t want to let them control her, but then says — they do. She says they murdered him because he was trying to help her change her life. Patton asks Dwayne if she’s sure she doesn’t know who runs the pro ring and he says he believes her. Patton says all the threatening texts are burners. He also says he put a trace on the other girl’s phones to try and track down the ring leader. Sebastian tells Brody and Chris about ballistics evidence history. He shows them the bullet that killed Blake. He shows them similar striations from an unsolved murder back in 2006. It was a promoter at Club Madison. Chris remembers the case and says it involved the Russian mob and says they are heavily involved in the sex trades, especially at port cities like NO. He goes to see Ross who points out Vlad who is mob connected and psycho crazy. Chris approaches Vlad at the bar and shows him the pics of Natalie and Blake. Vlad says he’s legit. He goes to pull a gun on Chris and finds Chris’ weapon already in his hand. Ross sneaks up behind Vlad and puts a gun to his head. Chris snatches Vlad’s gun and hauls him in. Chris tells Dwayne that a rich businessman had a hook up with Natalie and fell in love. When he wanted to see her again, she canceled because of Blake. They wonder if that’s why the mob killed Blake — to make sure to keep a good customer happy. Sebastian and Loretta video call to say they figured out the improvised silencer. He shows them these 20 ounce drink bottles that you stuff with fabric. They even ID’d the specific soda — Orange Haze. Brody says Campus officer Mike also drinks that soda. He sees them coming on the security cameras and takes a hostage then tries to flee. Brody calls out to him to stop. He heads back down to the secret tunnel in the dormitory and tries to get away. He fires a couple of shots back at Chris to slow him up. He gets to the ladder, climbs up and Dwayne is there, waiting, with his gun trained on him. He tells Mike to give him an excuse. He sits in interrogation and Brody tells him she doesn’t know he drinks Orange Haze. She also tells him he should have rinsed the bottle before he made his silencer. He denies to Dwayne 15 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide that he knew Blake or the club promoter. Dwayne says they know he works for the Russian mob and have him on two murders and another attempt. Brody says he faces the death penalty if he doesn’t deal. He tells them he didn’t try to run the girl over — he says he never misses. He asks for a lawyer. Natalie comes to Tilda and tells her they have to go. She says Mike was arrested and that they’re going to figure out who runs the ring and they’re going to kill her. Tilda gets rough with her and Natalie realizes Tilda is the one that runs the ring. Tilda says she better not have told anyone about the ring. Natalie says she didn’t but then says — you did — and shows her the wire she’s wearing. They bust in and arrest Tilda and haul her out. Dwayne shows up to Blake’s funeral and shakes his boss’ hand. Natalie is there too and says TJ saw the best in her. Brody and Chris show her a scholarship they found for her since her dad died in the line of duty that will let her stay in school without hooking. She thanks them for giving her a second chance. Lauren finds her dad playing the piano outside the office. He says they’re making room for it inside. Dwayne tells her he doesn’t want her caught in the middle. She sits and they play a song together. 16 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide It Happened Last Night Season 1 Episode Number: 5 Season Episode: 5 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday October 21, 2014 Jack Bernstein Arvin Brown Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Rocky Carroll (NCIS Director Leon Vance), Joe Spano (Senior FBI Agent T.C. The investigation reveals the victim’s wife has been kidnapped and is being held for ransom. Meanwhile, senior FBI agent Fornell travels to the Big Easy to assist with the case. A body was found in the bayou. A couple of sightseers on their honeymoon were the ones that spotted it and unlike their tour guide — they honestly thought the body was part of the ”show”. But the dead marine was not part of anyone other than his killers’ entertainment. The Chief Warrant Officer was proven to have been water boarded prior to his death. And the significance of that is while he’s officially referred to by his fancy title — he was in truth an interrogator. William Reed was put in charge of the most harden criminals during his two tours in the Middle East. Men would be taken right off of the field and be delivered directly into his hands. Yet in spite of all of that, no one is claiming responsibility for his death. So if he murdered for revenge — no one is owing to it. And the case gets weirder. There looked like there was a fight when the federal agents showed up at William’s home. Everything was out of place and William’s newly made widow was also missing. However her brother said that might not be all that strange. Marilyn Reed and her husband have been having some problems lately. According to Marilyn’s brother, William wasn’t what his parents wanted for his sister. So, in the end, although she had given up her generations old trust in order to be with him — she always felt like she deserved more from husband. And sometimes she would eye a certain trainer for far too long. But Marilyn’s brother was also later shown to have lied to the feds. Oliver said he hadn’t been by the house for some time and someone’s surveillance camera picked had him up driving to his sister’s on the day William was murdered. Hence the team had to confront Oliver. If he could lie about a little thing like a visitation then he could be withholding more pertinent information. 17 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide And he was sitting on quite a big secret. Marilyn wasn’t missing. She was in fact kidnapped and because Oliver didn’t want to risk her life — he hadn’t informed the police about what happened to his sister. He was just going to pay the ransom. Though Pride thankfully stopped Oliver from going through with that rather foolish plan. Indeed he probably even saved Oliver from signing off on his own sister’s death. Because who knows what would have happened once the kidnappers got their hands on 3 million. Oliver and his sister could easily be written off as loose ends! Anyways, Oliver could only ever gotten that kind of money with his lawyer’s assent. And getting that alone would have been a trial. The family trust was tied up so that no one generation could blow through it all. Yet Oliver allegedly has a history with constantly asking for more money. So the lawyer wouldn’t have just handed away that much money. It wasn’t until the lawyer had met Pride that he realized Oliver wasn’t merely making up a kidnapping to suit his own ends. By this point, Dr. Wade had recognized a foreign substance that was still on William’s corpse. It came from certain algae and the one remaining area that carried that type of flower could be found on an estate owned by Oliver’s family estate. So suspicion naturally fell on Oliver. Maybe he arranged his sister’s kidnapping in order to get his hands on all of the family money. But Oliver didn’t recall ever buying an estate. He didn’t need one! Hence the team along with some help from Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell took a second look at the bank statements. And it looked like the lawyer was planning on scamming the trust away from Oliver because he was behind forging Oliver’s name. It seems he always wanted the money and rather than take little by little — he was simply going to use Marilyn to drain the accounts all at once. Yet when the cops showed up to arrest him — he was dead and the money had been transferred out. Apparently, his partner also known as the nosiest neighbor alive (she was a good friend of Marilyn’s) had hatched the plan together but when she found out that he had killed William — she decided to keep the money all to herself and ”take care” of her partner. But Pride put a stop to her dreams. And the team found Marilyn and returned her to her very worried brother. 18 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Master of Horror Season 1 Episode Number: 6 Season Episode: 6 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday October 28, 2014 Scott Shapiro Terrence O’Hara Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Steven Weber (Councilman Douglas Hamilton), Paige Turco (Linda Pride), Rodney Rowland (Chief Petty Officer John Neville), Eyal Podell (Dr. Samuel Wilkins), Adam Rose (Jesse Neville), Aubrey Deeker (Navy First Class Petty Officer Jake Dern), Cyd Strittmatter (Kimberly Murdock), Brooke Hurring (Raquelle), Brett Zimmerman (Eric), Samantha Beaulieu (Officer Sullos), Jessica McDaniel (Judge Advocate Melanie Herman), Megan Few (Denise Murdock) A Naval staff judge advocate is murdered on Halloween and found in a cemetery dressed in a Victorian costume with vampiric puncture wounds on her neck. Meanwhile, the team members discuss what Halloween activity and costumes would be best. It’s Halloween in New Orleans. So of course the team was expecting a bit of theatrics during this time of year but in a place where voodoo practices is considered a normal everyday occurrence — no one could have foreseen an actual case involving fangs and creatures of the night as being anything close to realistic. But on tonight’s episode of NCIS: New Orleans, the usual looks possible when the body of a Naval Staff Judge Advocate was found in a cemetery suffering from severe blood loss with, dum dum dummm, two puncture wounds to the neck. Judge Herman was alive when she was found and only later died from her wounds but make no mistake — no one seriously believes her killer was anything other than human. And this is in spite of her last words being the devil did that to her. Loretta’s autopsy showed their victim was drugged for the most part which explains her loopiness and it’s a good thing too. Although the two puncture wounds were merely superficial; their victim appeared to be short one kidney. Her killer had stolen her kidney before he let her bleed out. And it had to be intentional because what skilled surgeon can remove a kidney with no little problem but hold off on stitching the patient back up again. Thankfully, though, the team managed to retrace their victim’s steps. However the case got even odder from there. Their victim went to an abandon building that looks like it used to be a voodoo shop. And when Christopher and Meredith went in to investigate — they found another body. This time the victim was found in a freezer. The second victim only had one connection to the judge and that’s they’ve both served on a rape case. He was a juror and Judge Herman was the one presiding. The case itself was 19 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide compelling. So eventually the court had no other choice than to rule against Chief Petty Officer John Neville. But now two people from the trial are dead and the assault victim from the case, Denise Murdock, hasn’t been seen in the last two days. So that really leaves only on suspect — Neville. He got paroled three months ago and to this day he claims Denise lied and the cops set him up. He refuses to accept any blame and with Denise missing — the team just didn’t have time to wait for him to mess up. They had to move fast and amazingly Sebastian, the weird kid in the coroner’s office, was able to help with this. You see he had caught a pattern with the two victims they had so far. The first, the judge, was staged to look like Dracula’s first victim. And as for the second victim, he was given Judge Herman’s kidney and received electric shock post-mortem. Almost as if someone wanted to create their very own Frankenstein. So they looked into Neville’s past. And Neville loved the old horror tales. The true scary ones. He was fascinated by Dracula and Frankenstein. But there was a third tale he loved. It was one of Edgar Allan Poe’s and involved burying someone alive. The team immediately ransacked Neville’s home. They looked into all the walls but while they found the knife he had used on Judge Herman — they didn’t find Denise. They did on the other hand come across her abandoned car. It was left by the side of the road and there was a fair amount of blood inside. Yet even the blood was a mystery. DNA testing showed it came from Neville. However he didn’t have a mark on him. Because of medical reason, Neville had to take samples of his blood. And someone could have easily stolen those vials. For instance, how about his son. Although Jessie appears dimwitted, he was the only one that had access to vials of his father’s blood. Plus there’s no love lost between father and son. The elder Neville treated Jessie like an annoyance at the best of times. During the worst of times, he abused his son. Which explains the Dissociative Identity Disorder. The disease causes the victim to create a second identity. Often the victim isn’t even aware of the second person. And the second person likes to keep it that way. They’re created to protect the original and that’s what Jesse’s did when his father started to abuse him. Jessie had passed the lie detector test the first time around but after they suspected him of suffering from D.I.D — they made sure the second personality was forced to come out and answer some questions. And Mr. Hyde was a sight to see. He hurt so many people in order to get his father thrown back in jail. And it’s nothing new for him. Jesse’s other personality was the one that had attacked Denise all those years ago. Then he framed Jesse’s father for it hoping the other man would stay in prison. But when Neville got out, Hyde wanted to make sure the next time the other man went to prison would be his last. Hence the murders. Yet once he was discovered by the NCIS team — he quickly made a deal. A psychiatric hospital for Jessie and in return he would tell Pride where Denise was. That is if she’s still alive. And, thankfully, she was! Though how she’s going to be after this is really up in the air at this point! 20 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Watch Over Me Season 1 Episode Number: 7 Season Episode: 7 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday November 11, 2014 David Appelbaum James Hayman Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Daryl ”Chill” Mitchell (Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame), Laura Allen (Katherine Wilson), Melinda Page Hamilton (Alexandra Schwartz), Adam Harrington (Jason Axelrod), Andrew Borba (Navy Captain Roger Marcus), Hunter Burke (Bart Roberts), Carrie Lazar (Lieutenant Clementine Hill), Christopher Matthew Cook (Oscar Randolph), Ron Flagge (Mr. Voodoo), James Yeargain (Mr. Silver), Carl Palmer (Bill Ravens) A navy officer with the highest level top secret clearance is murdered, after he was recently assigned as a tech liaison with a private developer. Meanwhile, Pride transforms the carport into an auto shop when he works on the first car he gave his wife. A commanding Naval Officer was murdered on tonight’s episode of NCIS: New Orleans and the team is working with a crucial time table on finding out who the culprit before there’s a possible high level security breach to go along with the murder! Commander Wilson was found dead in his car with a protruding weapon sticking out of his chest (so no surprise on the cause of death). And before he died he had extremely high security access. Meaning he was let in on Drone projects and other secretive missions for the government. But what was peculiar about his crime scene (besides the weapon) is that Wilson was also barefoot. As if he was attempting to run away from something or someone when he was murdered. So the guys were left with no choice. They had to go to his house to see if that was the point of origins leading up to the murder. Yet they had suspected there would be a second victim awaiting them. That time it ended up being Wilson’s assistant, Becca. The assistant was naked and appears to have been using the tub when she was murdered. And this initially leads the NCIS team to believe that she was his mistress. Wilson was currently going through a divorce at the time of his murder and with a murdered naked woman to boot — his wife became their number one suspect. However, she denied all culpability and later the team found out that Wilson and Becca were never involved in ”that” kind of way. So Wilson’s work became the focus of their investigation and Dr. Wade was Sebastian were able to be of assistance. There was a foreign object found inside of the Commander. Ad it’s something he probably wouldn’t have put there himself. A piece of device was inside Wilson and it’s commonly used to 21 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide spy on whoever it’s inside of. According to Sebastian, the device picks up on whatever computer or cell phone that is near. Then it collects as much data as it can before being transmitted back to its owner. So someone must have been spying on Wilson! Wilson was assigned as a tech liaison with a private developer. He was supposed to help whatever the company built to be able to integrate into the Navy. And it’s all classified. But apparently that wasn’t going to stop a certain someone. Wilson and his assistance were targeted because of they what they knew. Yet this third party still wasn’t satisfied. He later targeted Wilson’s estranged wife just to see what she knew. And luckily Pride managed to come to rescue and save the widow from her potential murderer. Pride then had to take the widow into protective custody and that left the rest of his team to try picking up the slack. And what they found is that prior to his death — Wilson had met with another techie. A man that was actually fired from the same private firm Wilson was working with. But when Christopher and Brody found this techie — he was already gone. He had been murdered a few hours before either Wilson or his assistant. Someone was definitely cleaning up shop and sadly the widow had gone to see her husband one finally time before they signed the divorce papers. So, the killer, might think Wilson could said a few things to his wife, while she was still his wife that is, in confidence. So she was targeted a second time while in protective custody! Yet, Mrs. Wilson ended up being the key the team needed to find her husband’ murderer. Wilson had one thing on him when he died and it was a piece of jewelry. The same kind of jewelry that matches presents he had given his wife over the years. A second glass at the locket resulted in the team finding a memory card inside of its clasp. Wilson it seem had accidentally gotten his hands on an email detailing a faulty bombing system inside of the drone the private firm had been alleging was in good working condition. Wilson had taken the information to another man in order to validate it so that he could then bring it to his superiors but everyone who knew of the email is now either dead or behind the murders. And that’s how the team found their killer. The company owner had contracted Wilson’s death and the man she paid to do the job had gone above and beyond of what she had asked for. And his relentless targeting of Wilson’s widow is funnily what brought both of them down. 22 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide Love Hurts Season 1 Episode Number: 8 Season Episode: 8 Originally aired: Writer: Director: Show Stars: Guest Stars: Summary: Tuesday November 18, 2014 Jack Bernstein Michael Pressman Scott Bakula (NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride), Lucas Black (NCIS Special Agent Christopher LaSalle), Zoe McLellan (NCIS Special Agent Meredith ”Merri” Brody), CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Rob Kerkovich (Forensic Scientist Sebastian Lund) Daryl ”Chill” Mitchell (Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame), Wes Brown (Navy Chief Petty Officer Phil Martino), Kyle Davis (Rodney Abbott), Shawn Carter Peterson (Marco Drayer), Matt Riedy (Navy Admiral Carlton Hume), Chris Ufland (James Walker), Catherine Ashton (III) (Melissa), Vanessa Cloke (Lena), Danny Cosmo (Salvage Collector), Breighton Hamel (Robbie) A petty officer is found dead in a Mardi Gras float storage facility with an engagement ring and proposal plan in hand. The investigation takes a mysterious turn when the team are unable to locate his supposed long-term girlfriend. Petty Officer Jonathan Bell was found murdered in a Mardi Gras float storage facility. It sounds odd but there is a reason behind it. The Medical Examiner had found an engagement ring along with a written-out proposal plan on the victim. It seems like he was going to propose to his longtime girlfriend Maria Garcia and one of things they had in common was their love of Mardi Gras. However Maria nor anything that appears to have come from her was found at the scene. So Pride needs to have a little chat with her. At best she could be a witness to a crime and at worst she could be the culprit they’re looking for. From all appearances, Maria had gotten herself involved in an ugly love triangle. She was allegedly seeing Bell at the same time she was seeing someone named Abbott. And when Abbott found out about Bell (after Bell had change his relationship status), Abbott had started to threaten the other man over the internet. And while his threats weren’t exactly that dangerous, Pride and his men were still able to attain a search warrant for Abbott’s home. But here’s the surprising thing. They had found a weapon there that was used on the victim yet wasn’t what killed him. Apparently there were two shooters at the storage facility. One person killed Bell and Abbott simply shot him after he was already dead. Abbott confessed to the crime readily enough but in doing that he alerted the NCIS team to the fact he was covering up a crime for someone else. Which is why Pride started to look at Maria. She had closed her Instagram account and no one could find her. Then, after she had turned on her cell, they were able to find Maria. Though she ended being more of a man than the goddess Abbott seems to think he was. Maria’s real name was Marco. He 23 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide was part of a simple game of catfish. Marco had explicitly targeted Bell with ”Maria” and Abbott had merely found his fake profile and began stalking him. But then the team wanted to know why Marc went after Bell. They looked into him and notice that he used to be part of anti-government organization. Marco and Marco’s former friends used to try and hack top military files. So Marco’s ”game” didn’t look so innocent anymore once they learned more about him. Yet the team never got a chance to have a second go at Marco. Someone had killed him, using the same gun they had on Bell, before he could talk. Though they did find out what he had been doing. Marco had been looking for personal information about Bell. Bell worked directly under the admiral and so he was privy to vital information. By collecting data on him, it wouldn’t be long before Marco was able to decipher all of Bell’s passwords. Bell had known about a top secret lunch the admiral was going to have with several South American officials. The dinner was supposed to be the first step in stemming all of the drugs that’s been coming into the states. And, well, didn’t really what that to happen. So they hired an assassin who then hired Marco to get what she needed. And once she got her hands on the location of the secret lunch — the assassin was going to plant a bomb that was going to kill everyone that attended the meeting. Thankfully all of her hard work was for nothing. NCIS cleared out the restaurant prior to the bomb going off and the assassin was taken into custody alive. Subsequently, her being alive means she can now provide proof the cartel was planning an act of terror on US soil. But the ordeal took a toll on LaSalle. He had nearly lost a friend in the blast and the whole thing made him think about his brother. The team gets ready for their annual Thanksgiving dinner. A stolen gun reopens a very old case on tonight’s episode of ”NCIS: New Orleans”. Chief Petty Officer Jacob Tarlow died nearly forty years ago. He was part of the Navy that actively recruited Black Americans into joining the navy and unfortunately that wasn’t the safest job in the world at the time. Also there was few that didn’t exactly approve of Jacob being Jewish. And during those days, the KKK or better known as the confederate as they were trying to call themselves used to make things difficult for guys like Jacob in Louisiana. While he strived to help Black Americans, White Americans tended to view him as a race traitor. So much so he was set upon on the very same night he died. Jacob and a couple of buddies were fighting off guys when they got separated from each other. And by the next morning, Jacob was found strung from a tree. There wasn’t an investigation. And even Jacob’s boss refused to look into things. So his death (which includes him being hung from a tree) was ruled suicide and years later Dr. Wade took up his case. Wade keeps a lot of cold cases that have touched a nerve by her bedside and Jacob’s just happened to be one of them. In the years since his death, Wade and his family have never given up looking into his death. His widow who is now dying of cancer has always said Jacob took his gun with him the night before he was found dead. And his friends at the scene of the later race riot also claimed to have seen Jacob with his gun. But while that wasn’t enough to reopen the case back then — it’s enough now. Pride and Wade got permission from the family to dig up Jacob. Yet they appeared to have run into a problem as they were doing so. It seems someone had filed an injunction to stop 25 NCIS: New Orleans Episode Guide them exhuming body and whoever went through trouble of filing paperwork also took the time to ensure their name wouldn’t be disclosed as well. So the team was back at the beginning. The one suspect they had couldn’t be the killer because he just happens to be too tall to have strung Jacob up and Jacob’s widow is deteriorating at an alarming rate. Hannah Tarlow doesn’t have that much time so if they really want to give her peace of mind then the team has to start breaking ground in their investigation. Thankfully the FBI came to be of use. Back in the old days, the feds used to spy on everyday citizen with little to no cause. So they have plenty of pictures to go around. And because the team was still interested in one racist seeing as he was one of the men that beat up Tarlow the night he died and who also had his gun — they looked into the man’s accomplices. And as it turns out he used to be very good friend with several police officers. One of them is Tom Hamilton and he’s Councilman Douglas Hamilton’s father. Tom Hamilton was a police officer. But he was old school about it. He felt people like Jacob and the ones Jacob were trying to reach were below him. So Tom would hang around other racists all in the guise of trying to protect their way of life. He let his friends beat up guys like Jacob and then he would most likely arrest guys like Jacob while claiming they were disturbing the peace. So naturally Tom was suspected of Jacob’s murder. Yet his son had given Pride his father’s DNA and that didn’t match the blood they had of their culprit. And that’s what got Wade thinking. What if she’s been looking at this case wrong for all these years? She thought Jacob was murdered because of hate. But what if wasn’t hate that came from the racist cop or his backwater friends. What if hate came from unexpected sector? The last person to see Jacob alive was his friend Paul. Paul had gotten into the earlier scuffle with the racists and Paul had also been the one to deliver Jacob’s diary to the police. It was the diary entry after the fight which led people like Wade to believe Jacob felt he was being targeted by certain. The entry even went as far to imply that he knew his life was in danger. But analysis done on the handwriting showed it wasn’t Jacob writing fearfully about people coming to kill him in the night. That’s just something his friend Paul had written in after he had died. Paul wasn’t as good a friend as everyone though. Apparently had a thing for Jacob’s wife. And on the night of the fight, he told Jacob about it. This caused an argument between them and Paul swears things got out of hand. Though that doesn’t change the result of his argument with Jacob. He killed his friend and then he covered it up. And rather than show remorse, Paul has been proposing to Hannah for years afterwards. So he knew what he was doing. He wanted the girl and he thought he had removed the only obstacle. But even in death, Jacob had hold over her. She worshiped his memory and raised their daughter. And now both women were left feeling betrayed when they found out their longtime friend had been the one to rob them of Jacob. Paul will be court-martialed for the murder and in the meantime Hannah plans on forgetting him for the rest of her days until she can be reunited with her husband. 26 Actor Appearances A Roberto Aguire . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0109 (Orion) Erika Alexander . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0102 (Navy Commander Louanne Bates) Laura Allen . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0107 (Katherine Wilson) Charlene Amoia . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0103 (Carly Dawson) Carlos Antonio . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0103 (Paramedic) Catherine Ashton (III) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0108 (Melissa) B Nicole Barre . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0102 (Doctor Melora Haley) Samantha Beaulieu . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 0106 (Officer Sullos); 0109 (NOPD Officer Sullos) Gabe Begneaud . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0105 (Albert Fontenot) Andrew Borba . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 0107 (Navy Captain Roger Marcus) Martin Bradford . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 0101 (Ross P); 0104 (Ross P.)
