ST. TERESA’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER will be held
at St. Teresa of Avila Church Hall, Elmira on Friday,
December 5th. The meal will begin at 6:00 p.m. Those
who have purchased take-out tickets can pick their meals
up at 5:30 p.m. There will be a limited number of tickets
available. They can be ordered through the Parish Office
Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or by calling 519-6693387 or after Masses. Ticket prices are: adults $16.00;
children 6-12 years $8.00 and children 5 & under are free.
There will be door prizes! Last chance to purchase tickets is
Wednesday, December 3rd. All are welcome! Don’t miss
out on this delicious Christmas dinner.

Come out and join in on the fun and fellowship at the
Catholic Women’s League CHRISTMAS POTLUCK
DINNER on Tuesday, December 9th, after the 6 p.m.
Mass. We will be presenting service pins to six of our
members and put on a short play as well as enjoying a
delicious meal, prizes and short meeting. All ladies of the
parish are welcome! Please bring your favourite dish to
share, a plate, cup and cutlery. Don’t forget your Secret
Sister and if you wish, a gift for Woolwich Goodwill. A few
have not yet paid their dues of $25.00. Please continue
your membership in this worthwhile organization.

ADULT FAITH EVENING on November 27 at St. Anne’s
Parish, Kitchener at 7:00 p.m. Topic is “Scripture and
Tradition” with speaker Dr. Cristina Vanin, Professor of
Religious Studies at St. Jerome’s University.

on the Gospel of St. Mark for this new advent season! We

by The Kitchener Knights of Columbus, featuring the voices
of the renowned St. Michael’s Choir School in concert with
The Waterloo Regional Police Male Chorus. Council 1504
invite you to enjoy a memorable presentation and financially
help support both the preservation of St. Mary’s and St.
Michael’s Choir School’s distinguished program. This is a
great start to Christmas celebrations with family and friends.

HEALING MASS FOR THOSE MOURNING THE LOSS OF
A CHILD – Losing a child is a painful and life-altering
experience for parents, grandparents and other family
members. The feeling of loss, regardless of the amount of
time that has passed, is often more profound during the
Christmas season. A Diocesan Healing Mass, meant to
bring hope to all those trying to cope with such grief, is
planned at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King for

child of any age from any cause, including those that have
lost a child prior to birth, or who have had a still birth are
invited to this Mass celebrated by Bishop Daniel Miehm.
God is close to those who mourn, come and experience
His healing presence. Registration is preferred, but not
necessary, as it will assist us in knowing how many spaces
to reserve and to ensure we have enough of the small

2014-2015 Lectures in Catholic Experience at St. Jerome’s
University, “BUILDING A CULTURE OF ENCOUNTER” on
Friday, December 5, 2014, at C. L. Siegfried Hall, St.
Jerome’s University at 7:30 p.m., Bruce Alexander,
psychologist and professor emeritus at Simon Fraser
University, B.C., will present this year’s Ignatian lecture
His Excellency Bishop Douglas Crosby, O.M.I. invites you to
