As owner and operator of Diesel Engine Sales Company in St.
Augustine, Florida, my father, L.C. “Ring” Ringhaver, preferred to
power the shrimp boats his company built and sold with Cat ® diesel
engines. In fact, he sold so many Cat marine engines to customers
around the world that Caterpillar ® awarded him the engine franchise
for Florida in 1961, and Ring Power Corporation was formed. One year
later, Ring Power was named the full line Cat equipment dealer in
North Florida.
Today, Ring Power is comprised of 13 specialized divisions with more
than 1,800 employees and more than 26 locations worldwide. In
addition to the full line of Cat products and services we offer in North
and Central Florida, we represent an ever expanding roster of diverse
product lines. Our allied, crane and material handling equipment
business operations span the Southeast U.S., while our temporary
power and temperature control services meet the needs of the
entertainment industry around the globe.
