A Message From The Chairperson Of The Assembly Dear friends and colleagues, It gives me great pleasure and pride to announce the upcoming 47th Middle East Medical Assembly (MEMA), which will be held from May 7 to 9, 2015 at the American University of Beirut. Following on from previous meetings, this year’s MEMA will be enriched by an outstanding program with lecturers from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (SJCRH), Emory University, and many other leading and prestigious medical centers and institutions. In continuation of MEMA’s tradition of bringing together physicians, nurses, residents, students and other healthcare professionals from Lebanon and the region, the format of the meeting this year will be particularly focused on the multidisciplinary approach to targeting solid tumors, with an innovative program designed for all healthcare professionals spanning over 3 days. The state-of-the-art facilities of the hosting center provide the optimal setting to bring us together with the united aim of continuing education and promoting best practice to the benefit of our patients. Target Audience This annual scientific meeting has been designed for physicians, nurses, medical students, trainees and researchers in all specialties. Accreditation Statement This activity has a pending approval for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from Yale University.
