Parking Services Alert – Fall Commencement Parking Map Parking for graduates, participants, and their guests is located in the commencement parking zone (S10, S11, S12, S14, S15, and S16). Permit holders in these zones are asked not to park in the designated visitor parking area all day on Friday, December 19th. Permit holders and non-commencement visitors may park in the Tate, North, East, Performing Arts and Hull Street parking decks. In addition, all other surface lots, particularly W06, W10, W11, E06, and E07 are available for parking. The S12 Hoke Smith Annex lot, located at the corner of Sanford Drive and Smith Street, is reserved for customers with disabilities. A disability placard or license plate will be required to access this area. The S10 (McPhaul) and S16 (upper Coverdell) lots will be reserved for the Commencement Party. Please do not park on sidewalks, fire lanes, loading docks, landscaped areas, or on streets. Improperly parked vehicles may be towed. Staff, faculty, and administration that normally park in the designated commencement parking areas are encouraged to make alternative transportation plans. Parking availability in all lots, but particularly on South Campus, will be impacted. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Campus Transit will operate two routes (www.transit.uga.edu/Intersession) that are available to all in the UGA community.
