Dear Readers,
HAPPY HOLIDAY’S!!!!!!
The other night I tossed and turned and felt un-easy. Finally I dosed off
when I woke up to my cell phone ringing. In a sleepy state trying to be
awake my youngest son Chase was on the phone. He started off by saying
he had some terrible news! He informed me that his big brother Tyson
had overdosed on heroine and stopped breathing… but had been revived
and was in the emergency room! He sounded terrified and in shock. No
one knew! How could I have not known this! I did know Tyson had been
recovering from back surgery and was very depressed and trying to heal
and get work. I had been sending him money to keep him a float until
he got a job. Recently he had been avoiding me and now I know why. I
felt terrible that the money I sent him was the money used for the drug
that almost killed him. This wave of adrenaline came over me. Instantly I
prayed. I begged God to save my son! Help him heal and have a desire to
LIVE! (My prayer network automatically starts with my brothers, sister and
mom.) Next thing I was on a plane to Boston. People I met seem to say the
most comforting kind compassionate things to me! Divine intervention is
such a MIRICLE! The good news is Tyson is in a re-habilitation facility and
getting the professional treatment he needs. My moral support for both of
my sons I am grateful to give as I would move heaven and earth for ALL my
kids. My 22 year old son lives. He counts. EVERY ONE of us COUNTS!
Life is a precious gift and we have the power to hurt or heal. BELIEVE in the
Power of Prayer! Wishing PEACE, LOVE, and HOPE for our WORLD this
HOLIDAY SEASON!
