PRO LIFE ROSARY
Our Pro-Life Group meets on the first Saturday of every
month for the recitation of the rosary near the Planned
Parenthood’s facility, at 111 Hazard Ave. (rte. 190) next
to the Country Diner in Enfield. You are invited to join
them at 10:00 AM each month.
FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT
GIVING TREE
Once again we will have the Giving Tree during the Advent season. Each family is invited to take one of the paper ornaments, obtain what is suggested on it, wrap it and
place it under the tree. Monetary donations may be placed
in the basket in front of the tree or put it in the offertory
basket. This year’s recipients of your donations will be the
First Way Life Center, Enfield Loaves & Fishes, Hope for
Haiti, Little Sisters of the Poor, HomeFront, Felician
Adult Day Care and the Enfield Food Shelf (donations of
money/food).
A NEED FOR USED EYEGLASSES
For more than 40 years the members of the Enfield Lions Club have been collecting used eyeglasses for recycling. After inspection and sorted they are sent to various underdeveloped
countries. They are never given to foreign governments or
sold for any purpose. The collection box is located at the
Pearl Street entrance to St. Patrick Church.

ST. ADALBERT CHURCH COMMUNITY
GIVING TREE
Our parish Giving Tree will stand in the vestibule of our
church through the Epiphany. As the weeks pass, the Giving Tree will come to life as you make a monetary contribution and place an ornament from the basket on it. Monetary donations made during this time will be sent to the
Benedictine Order of Nuns in Poland. The money will be
used by them for their continued effort to care for orphaned and abandoned children. For approximately fifteen
years, we have made the commitment to support this
cause as a direct link to our heritage. Your generosity this
year as in years past is truly appreciated. May God bless !
