INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR TONIGHT’S PRESENTATION Before the Presentation • Please switch your devices to vibrate or mute, but feel free to keep them on. • During the evening, we will interact using websites and apps, specifically Socrative, Twitter and Today’sMeet. We have created links and QR codes (the black and white squares) to download specific apps. QR codes require a QR reader. If you do not have one, go to either the iTunes App Store or Google Play and search for Free QR Reader. • To interact with the presentation, we are also experimenting with Socrative and TodaysMeet. com. Twitter handles are free. • Socrative is an electronic quiz program. We will be using it in a limited fashion tonight, but will be using it more during the future “Boot Camps”. You may use either the website or the app. Our Socrative Room name is SecaucusPSD. Enter the Room Number into the box and click Join Room. • On the next page, you’ll find links to Twitter’s and Socrative’s websites, as well as their QR codes. Prog. URL iOS Android Socrative http://goo.gl/ueJTGU Twitter Name SecaucusPSD @SecaucusPSD, #spsdparcc http://www.twitter.com During the Presentation • Ask a question using the Question Card, Twitter or Today’s Meet • Toward the end of the presentation, we’ll read, then answer up to 10 questions out of the Question box. • Unanswered questions on Question Cards will be transcribed to create an FAQ page on sboe.us. • In addition to the Question Cards, you have the option posing questions and responses via Twitter using the hashtag #spsdparcc or on Today’s Meet backchannel. If you don’t use #spsdparcc, we won’t see your question. The district’s Twitter handle is @SecaucusPSD. After the Presentation Please take our Presentation Survey and extend the conversation through our TodaysMeet.com backchannel, which will operate until 12/18/2014.
