At Christmas
Christmas celebrations are hard on the lonely.
Commercial extravagance is hard on the poor.
‘There was no room for them at the inn’.
Do not forget those who find Christmas painful.

We are coming to the end of the Season of
Advent....I am sure the faithful parishioners of
Kimmage Manor Parish have made it a wonderful
preparation for celebrating the Birthday of Jesus.
We had one marvellous example of this
preparation....the recent Parish Carol Service.
What a celebration it was! Everyone
involved...the Folk Group...the Children...the
Children’s Leadership Group...the parents and
friends present...all are to be congratulated for a
memorable period in the Parish’s Life.
So...the Great Day is almost upon us. May
Jesus, the Prince of Peace, bring that peace
into the lives of our parish families...and indeed
into the lives of all people everywhere. He made
us a promise..we need to be patient and work
towards making Peace happen with His help.
On behalf of Frs. Tom, Eddie, and Raphael may I
wish the deeply committed members of Kimmage
Manor Parish Faith Community the Joys of
Christmas. May we bring that joy and peace to all
we meet.
