Rev. Kathleen’s Installation as Lead Minister
January 11 (Sunday) at 4 p.m., Meeting House
You are warmly invited to attend Reverend Kathleen’s Installation as Lead Minister. A light
reception will follow the Service in Bard Hall, and no RSVP is necessary.
Sunday Offerings in January go to UU Groups
During the month of January, our Generosity Offering will be received to support UU causes.
Each Sunday the offering will benefit one of the following groups. Thank you in advance for
your generous support of these UU Causes.
January 4: Filipino Partner Church Student Support
The first Sunday our Offering will go to a new scholarship program for partner church
families who can't afford to send their children to elementary school and high school.
This generosity offering will provide seed money for us to establish the program and
fund the kids' education for one year. We plan to continue the scholarship program on a
family-to-family basis in future years.
January 11: Latino Refugees
This Offering will be received for the Pacific Southwest District Refugee Fund supporting child refugees from Latin America. UU congregations in the district have been
collecting money and needed items and connecting with the refugees. The district is
working with several groups in Southern California.
January 18: Journey toward Wholeness
This Sunday's offering will go to the Whitney Young Fund at the UUA for their important programs in support of racial and other marginalized groups.
January 25: Youth Scholarships to Attend General Assembly in June
Our Generosity Offering this Sunday will go to our General Assembly Youth Scholarship fund. At least six teens from our youth group are planning to attend General Assembly this June in Portland and they need financial aid. We want to support them
because we realize that youth are the future of our movement.

Mondays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Common Room
Join for a restorative yoga class with a focus on personal body awareness and self-care; to aide in
stress relief for both mind and body, by mindfully practicing the poses, guiding our minds to
focus on positive thoughts and lighting our lives with laughter and community. After our poses
we have a 15-minute meditation. Bring a yoga mat and a blanket. Wear loose-fitting clothing.
Avoid heavy scents. Come early to get comfortable. Drop in.
