About Us
Fishing “The Pit”
Fields End Water is a family run farm in
the heart of the Fens. It is an ideal base
for caravan holidays and an excellent
location to visit for fishing and walking.
Peace and quiet is guaranteed, as we
are an adult only site and we have no
major roads nearby or under any flight
paths. Please do not feel you need to
be a fisherman to enjoy our park, it is
loved by all.
The Pit covers roughly three acres. It is widely respected to be
a quiet, tranquil and above all a friendly fishery. There are 22
swims around the outside of “The Pit” which is host to many
varieties of fish including Crucian, Carp, Tench, Ide, Barbel,
Roach and Perch. The largest carp to be caught in The Pit so
far is 27lbs and one of our regulars recently took a 8lb Tench.
Also on site is the hut – there is a unisex toilet and washbasin.
Please purchase your day tickets from the bait shop on arrival.

Fishing “The Pool”
The Pool lake is roughly 2.5 acres and hosts 28 swims,
originally designed for match fishing, now has become an
extremely popular venue for pleasure fishing too. We only
hold a handful of matches now.
(Adult only)
Our family run site offers exceptional caravanning and course fishing in the unique and historic Fens
for an unforgettable holiday experience. The whole site is quiet and very peaceful, with fantastic
views over the Fens.
We have a Caravan Club 5 Van Certified Location site
and we have recently added 33 fully serviced pitches
in the next door field, boasting electric, water and
grey waste disposal at all pitches. The park hosts an
exceptionally high standard facilities block, laundry
room, a gated security system. In the reception
building we sell fishing bait, everyday necessities,
milk, cold drinks, ice creams, newspapers, bacon
rolls & we have a book exchange library. The park
also has WiFi, in the comfort of your own caravan if
you wish. In 2011 we converted the rally field into
another 18 pitches of which 14 have just an electric
hook up.
Open all year, enthusuastic anglers will find fishing
for all levels, ramblers will enjoy the flat, expansive
countryside on one of our personalised walks and
those who just want to sit back and relax can do so
in beautiful and natural surroundings.
Pleasure fishing is now available everyday on the pool. The
lake has been stocked with thousands of Carp, Chubb,
Barbel, Ide and Tench, ranging from 1lb to 12 lbs.
