On behalf of the ANZAN Council and John O’Sullivan, Chair of the Scientific Program Committee, I have great pleasure in inviting you to
sponsor the ANZAN 2015 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), which will be held in Auckland, 12-15 May 2015.
ANZAN is proud that our Annual Scientific Meeting is the largest regular gathering of neurologists within Australasia. It is expected that

To the scientific program we will be adding the unique character
of Auckland and some fine New Zealand hospitality. We are sure

As New Zealand’s largest city, it is also the international gateway to
the rest of the country. Auckland’s waterside location has fostered
the locals’ love affair with the sea, earning this place the nickname
“City of Sails”.
Auckland has so much to see and do - there’s plenty of
entertainment for a few hours, a few days or a few weeks. If you
want to venture just out of Auckland, you can take a arbour ferry
ride to Waiheke and spend the day visiting wineries or head north
of the city to Matakana, to check out Auckland’s neighbouring
regions. There is so much to experience in this beautiful harbour
city - the entertainment options are endless.
ASM venue
The 2015 ASM will be held in Auckland’s premier, modern, purpose
built conference facility. Chosen as it is the optimal Auckland venue
to accommodate a meeting and exhibition of this size, SKYCITY
Auckland Convention Centre is located in the heart of the CBD.
The exhibition will be located in a single large dedicated exhibition
hall. Delegate catering will be served amongst the exhibition to
maximise opportunities for interaction and networking. A variety
of accommodation options, all within walking distance to the
venue, will maximise convenience for our exhibitors and delegates.

The ANZAN Registrars Training Weekend is an extremely valuable
and popular educational activity for advanced trainees in
neurology.
The ANZAN EMG workshop is held alternatively in Sydney and
Melbourne each year, usually in July. Targeted specifically to
neurology trainees, the weekend is a unique opportunity to
network with trainees and industry leaders alike.
The weekend attracts approximately 80 participants from
Australia and New Zealand and has two full educational days
incorporating a dinner for the weekend’s participants on the
Saturday evening.

In addition to sponsorship of the Registrars Training Weekend,
you will be recognised as a sponsor of the ANZAN Council
Reception for Registrars during the 2015 Annual Scientific
Meeting in Auckland. This is an informal social function for all
Heads of Departments in Australia and New Zealand and all
neurology advanced trainees, hosted by ANZAN Council at the
conclusion of lectures on Wednesday 13 May 2015.

Exhibition opportunities
The industry exhibition will be held in one hall of the SKYCITY
Auckland Convention Centre and will be the central hub of
all activities as part of the ASM program. All catering will be
served in this area including lunches, morning and afternoon
tea each day. The exhibition will be the ideal meeting place
for delegates to arrange to meet with colleagues, conduct
informal meetings and generally use the area as a ‘home base’
during the ASM.
A floor-plan will be designed and structured to provide
maximum exposure for exhibitors and also enable delegates
to move freely through the area. This gives each exhibitor a
tremendous opportunity to interact daily with the anticipated
350+ delegates.
The floor plan will be made available to exhibitors for their
stand selection in early 2015, once confirmed sponsors
have been given priority for stand selection. The Organising
Committee reserves the right to make changes to the floor
plan if necessary. Changes will not, however, be undertaken
without prior discussion with the organisation affected.

Custom design stands
If you require a custom designed stand, please provide a
diagram of the proposed stand with details and dimensions
for approval. The space for ‘custom design stands’ will be sold
on the same principle as standard exhibition stand.
Additional information
An exhibition manual will be provided to all confirmed
exhibitors in due course and this will outline all the logistical
information that each company will need, via links on the
ANZAN ASM website, such as the contracted exhibition build
and freight forwarding companies, delivery, hiring goods,
electricity, and storage.
Each exhibition stand includes registration for two exhibitor
representatives. Additional registrations will be available for
purchase with information provided in the exhibition manual.

General Terms and Conditions
Industry commitment
The ANZAN ASM is a scientific meeting run by the professional
peak industry body for neurologists. There is an expectation
that sponsors and exhibitors will not arrange any educational
or promotional activities in conflict or competition with the
ANZAN ASM Programme sessions or social functions.
Security
The exhibition will be locked each evening and security will be
on-site during the exhibition opening times. It is suggested that
no valuable items be left at your stand, especially overnight.
No responsibility can be taken for any loss or damage to
equipment and display materials.
ANZAN does not permit the use of or reference to its
intellectual property or Waratah trademark by any third party,
sponsor, or exhibitor for marketing or promotional purposes,
without consent. This includes but is not limited to: ‘ANZAN’,
‘ANZAN ASM 2015’ ‘ANZAN Annual Scientific Meeting’, or the
ANZAN Waratah logo.
Insurance
All exhibitors must have public liability insurance for the period
of the exhibition. The Organiser will not be responsible for
any loss or injury that may occur to the exhibitor, exhibitor’s
employees, registrants, the public or property from any cause
whatsoever prior to, during and the subsequent period of the
meeting. Exhibitors shall indemnify and hold harmless the
Organisers from all liability (damage or accident) that might
ensue from any cause resulting to or connected with the
transportation, placing, removal or display of exhibits.
Disclaimer
Every effort has been made to present, as accurately as possible,
all the information contained in this brochure. The Organising
Committee act only to procure and arrange these activities
and do not accept responsibility for any act or omission on
the part of the service providers. No liability is accepted for any
inaccuracy, nor for delay or damage, including personal injury
or death, howsoever caused resulting from or arising out of
reliance upon any general or specific information published in
this brochure. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the
Organising Committee reserves the right to change any or all
of these details.
Payment
Final payment settlement of all outstanding monies is required
by no later than three months after receipt of deposit or two
months prior to the event, whichever is earlier. If full payment
is not received within this time, the Organising Committee
reserves the right to reassign your sponsorship or display stand
without notice.
Cancellation
Any cancellation of bookings must be made in writing and
forwarded to the Meeting Manager. Cancellations received
before 31st January 2015 will receive a refund of all payments,
less the non-refundable 50% deposit. Cancellations received
after 31st January 2015 will receive no refund.
Allocations
Allocation of sponsorship and exhibition space(s) will be
made strictly in order of receipt of application forms and
accompanying deposits (please indicate sensitivity of location
to other companies). To ensure your sponsorship selection or
the number of stand you require are secured, please book early.
Late bookings are possible but choices may be limited. Please
note all entitlements are subject to the time of confirmation
(e.g. if the registration brochure has already gone to print, then
the sponsor would miss out on this entitlement if their 50%
deposit had not been paid).
