Each year the Friends of the Library award scholarships to one or more graduating teen volunteers planning to continue his or her education. Application packets for qualified teen volunteers will be available at the circulation desk this month. SANDI BOSTON ART EXHIBIT AND RECEPTION Local artist Sandi Boston will celebrate her exhibit with a reception open to the public on Sunday, January 11th from 1:30pm to 3pm. Sandi draws inspiration from the natural color palette of the big Texas sky. TRAVIS JOHANSEN ART EXHIBIT AND DEMONSTRATION Artist Travis Johansen will showcase his abstract alabaster and marble sculptures in the display window during the month of January. His pieces are intended to evoke the beauty of nature. Johansen will conduct a demonstration on the sculpting process on Tuesday, January 13th at 6pm. CASH FLOW FOR 2015 FINANCIAL SUCCESS Join Joe Romas, Accredited Asset Management Specialist, as he offers financial tips and solutions to help you reach your long-term financial goals. Romas obtained the AAMS designation through The College of Financial Planning. Join him on Tuesday, January 27th at 6pm for help with all your financial questions!
