Dear Holomua Elementary School Parents, ! 2014 - 2015 Would you like to share and promote your profession to our 5th and 6th graders at Holomua? If you said yes, then Career Day is the perfect day to share for you! You can help educate our students about the vast array of careers available. We would love your participation and would appreciate your time. ! Career Day consists of groups of students rotating to various speakers to get a range of options for their future. We will rotate the groups (consist of 15-20 students) within a two-hour block and each session will be around 20 minutes. We know your work time is valuable and would appreciate any time you can provide us. The Career Days are listed below, so you can check your calendar. ! ! Through our partnership with the Hawaii Community Action Program (HCAP), the Student Council decided to collect hygiene products (instead of canned foods) to assist with job readiness. The students were informed that their hygiene products would benefit people in need that are being assisted in job placement. Proper hygiene is a very important part of job readiness.
