Special Events Proposed By-Law Changes The following have been accepted by your Management Committee and will be voted upon at the next meeting: Probus Club President shall normally be for a term of 1 year but she may be elected for a 2nd year. Membership year changed from August 1-July 31 to September 1-August 31. Club shall be managed by a Management Committee consisting of the current members minus Historic/ Archivist and Cheer & Visiting. Their activities will come under the responsibility of other Management members. The By-Law vote will occur at the December General Meeting. In Memoriam: Sue Beggs A donation will be made in her honour. New Activity: What’s My Line A new Club feature is What’s My Line …a new way to get to know your fellow members. December Change of Venue The December meeting will be held in the Sussex Ballroom of the Cambridge Hotel, 700 Hespeler Road in Cambridge. Education creates a powerful weapon to defeat despair and hopelessness. We held a Remembrance Day observance with Major Charlotte Robinson, who served with the troops during WWII. The Major was introduced by Julia and thanked by Marion who also served with the Armed forces.
